In case any future readers wanted to do their own translation of the script files used by TMGS4, I have a tool that can decode and re-encode the scenario files
This allows you to not only change the dialog, but practically every single interaction in the game, including Live2D character movement and even creating your own scenarios.
With some modification, this tool may be able to be used on other games in the series.
I'm not able to post the tool yet as I just registered and cannot provide link. it's on gitlab under my username. I will update once I have those 5 posts so that anti-spam is happy
