Could you elaborate further on "you can just install the game."?
because yes previously i was transferring the NSP file from my mac onto my sd card using dbi.
Check this guide:

Alright thank you so much. So correct me if im wrong but all I need to do is download the files from the hyperlink you just provided for sys-patch and put them onto my sd card. After that, will the sys-patches be installed? Again thank you for sharing ur knowledge as someone who knows nothing on this topic.
Do that and reboot your console at least once after you paste the files as the patches are applied on boot.

For sys patch do i only need impeezas 1.6 syspatch file?
I've switched to the bth's version but impeeza's should still work, I think.

Yea 1.6 support up to firmware 22.x.x
Weird i had to download bth 1.6.1 and it worked

yep did everything on the guide. Since im on mac i cant run .exe files natively so i used whisky and created a windows 10 bottle to get dbibackend running. I did everything in the guide, and when it came to installing the games, on the dbi app it says that dbi is waiting for dbibackend to be launched on my pc when it clearly is? as shown in the picture. my switch is connected to my mac and everything but it doesnt wanna register dbibackend as launched

Can't really help you out since your on Mac and I'm not familiar with it but on Windows I needed to install libusbk driver for dbibackend to actually work as intended. Not sure what's the equivalent on Mac. On Windows I used Zadig to install that driver. https://zadig.akeo.ie/

I downloaded neumann and ıdn mitm and both came with tar folder as well. İ pasted the content of the zip folder which has the overlay and nro but what do i do with tar folder?

Quick question, one of my games on Emummc is missing and I'm trying to put it back.
I already own the game on cartridge, but I dunno, I just prefer it on Emummc.

I'm trying to dump the files into Emummc (I always use this guide for reference), but since the newest atmosphere update and the whole sigpatch/sys-patch issue, I've been a bit thrown off my game by an issue I'm not sure how to fix.

Following this guide up until the 3:15 time mark, I notice that hooking my Switch up to my laptop, the 'Installed games' folder is just entirely gone.

I have found an 'Installed games' folder within the 'saves' folder, but it's not the same, and it's really thrown me off course.
Are there any up-to-date post-sigpatch/sys-patch issue guides on how to continue dumping your games you guys can recommend so I can bookmark and go back to later?

Or is this particular guide still good and there's just another way to do it that I've yet to hear of?

I want to do a backup dump of my unhacked switch. I had done this before a few years ago and asked for help here:

But it has been a while and I am not sure if anything has changed.

I have a unhacked Switch 1 that's on the latest official firmware, but it's a model that has the Fusee exploit. I don't want to hack it or install anything on it, just dump a backup of my keys and NAND, I have a Jig key.

From my understanding I need to:
Plug in the Jig key
Plug in a SD card with Lockpick_RCM and Hekate on it
Hold down volume up and press power
Plug in into my PC and run TegraRcmGUI
Use TegraRcmGUI to inject Lockpick_RCM to dump my keys
Use TegraRcmGUI to inject Hekate to dump a backup of my NAND (I don't remember how to exit lockpick so I can then boot into Hekate though)

Is all this still correct or are there new/different/better methods now? Is Lockpick_RCM still viable? I know that Nintendo took down it's repo, but does it still work on the latest official firmware? I heard some say that it no longer dumps all the keys on newer firmware, is there a replacement if so? I recall there was a replacement called Picklock_RCM made, is this any better to use?

I also don't recall how I exit Lockpick_RCM (or whatever I would use in it's place) to then switch to Hekate

And what do I do once I am done to then reset my switch back to normal and not leave any trace that I ran any homebrew on it?I do use it online so I want to make sure I don't make a mistake, I have never written anything to it using homebrew or hacks, only dumped backups off of it.

I need help with something, why does animal crossing not boot in my switch lite? I have everything up to date keys, firmware 22.1.0 and atmosphere up to 1.11.1 every other game works but animal crossing won't work it says "software closed because an error ocurred" but that's all it says.

That said this is my first modded switch so idk I used my physical copy of animal crossing for this mind you I just made a digital backup so I could install it in emuNAND to have access to the homebrew for streaming my screen and such.

so if I wanted to install a mod chip into my switch lite (xjw) which would you recommend for ease of installing along with using?

It come down to if you can solder or not, not ideal if you don't know how to solder.
I’m fairly good at soldering I’ve done a couple of Amazon kits here and there and practiced on other Nintendo products and I’ve seen a few videos I think with enough patience I should be able to do it

Hey All

Long time lurker finally coming to post... with problems :/

Keeping it short.

OG Switch was updated to 22.1
and nothing worked
Followed the awesome guide to getting it back up and running and all seemed well.
Some games stopped working so figured I would reinstall and update them.

Problems really started
I could not get the installs to work with DBI or AWOO
Kept getting errors that seemed to be sigpatches.
Followed some more guides and got them all done
Still install issues persited.

Thought I would be special and downgraded the OS to 19.0.2
Now I keep getting the error code 2162
Tried clearing out the content folder and still no luck
Tried redoing the whole process from scratch and keep getting stuck at the same point
Can't get into a position where I can upgrade the Switch OS to a version that at least never gave me issues.

Switch is on 19.0.2 atmosphere 1.11.1

It got blackliste4d on Nintendo servers years ago so just use sys CFW for booting from the Hekate menu

Any suggestions or further info that is needed?

Thanks!

What happens when you just try to re-install 22.1 using Daybreak?

I am having trouble installing Tinfoil NSP and an XCI, I get some NCA Signature Error, I've looked and cannot find sigpatches or how and where to even install them properly

I am going to be installing a modchip into my switch lite and hacking it but I was curious if there was an hshop for the 3ds equivalent for modded switches? If not how and where would I get games for the console?
