Hi i uploaded sys_patch and after opening it i got this can someone help me?
Your nx-ovlloader probably needs to be updated. I'm not sure whether you're using Tesla Menu or Ultrahand, but I suggest switching to Ultrahand and its version of nx-ovlloader as it's actively maintained:
https://github.com/ppkantorski/Ultrahand-Overlay/releases/tag/v2.2.7
https://github.com/ppkantorski/nx-ovlloader

While you're at it, update the rest of your sys-modules and homebrew apps.

Hello guys!
I could finally start the hack system by adding the Patches-FW22.1.0-Atmo1.11.1.zip, but now I cannot run any games on the hack system, could you please help me find a solution? I'm not that smart.
Are you booting into Atmosphere by sending fusee.bin payload or via Hekate? Starting from v1.7.0 Atmosphere no longer supports ips kip patches which are usually used for piracy reasons. Therefore sigpatches won't work unless you:
1) Load Atmosphere's package3 via Hekate's FSS0 - You'll need to reboot to Hekate, go to Launch and select emuNAND CFW or sysNAND CFW (depending on which one you use).
2) Use modified Atmosphere's fusee.bin payload with ips kip patches support.
3) Use sys-patch instead of sigpatches.

From what I understand, with this version we are suggested to use sys-patch, which seems to be included in the HATS package. However, my older games do not work. Will the sys-patch only work for the new games installed with DBI? Any way to make the previously installed games with AWOO work? Do I need to do something else to activate sys-patches?
You can still use sigpatches and/or sys-patch (or bth's Atmosphere fork with built-in patches, if you're feeling a bit adventurous). The problem is that sys-patch is still maintained, while sigpatches that were shared here on GBATemp were generated by impeeza by using a tool called IPS Patch Creator by mrdude. Sadly, IPS Patch Creator is no longer in active development so it's a bit harder to create patches unless you know how to do it yourself. bth mentioned here how to make them.

As for the games that no longer work, did you boot into CFW at any moment while you were on a higher firmware but without up-to-date sys-patch/sigpatches? It could be that some games' tickets got invalidated so they'll need to be reinstalled. I'm not totally familiar with technical side of the things so other than by updating your sys-patch/sigpatches and reinstalling those problematic games with up-to-date title installer like DBI, I'm not sure how you could get them to work.

Thank you for your help. In the end, I think some of the files from the previous version were the culprit. I was afraid to delete them, so what I did was just copy/paste the new version folders over the existing ones.

I deleted:

/atmosphere/
/bootloader/
/config/
/switch/

And made a clean SD using the package (for Switch 22.1 + Atmosphere 1.11.1) given in the description of:

Btw, I also upgraded to 22.1 so I could use it. Now the games work :grog:

you owe me an apology for spreading misinformation in another thread, and now you do it here too.

i am one of the reasons you even have the .nsp format used in the first place, and part of reason why the original tinfoil even came into existence.

Me and 4 other people were messing around with devmenu (by patching out the devkit whitelist) passing around our installed versions of stardew valley until the formfactor was correct, without any signature patches, before testing the ES patch. which was exclusively put into SXOS (not by coincidence either, they were the ones who gave us the devmenu in the first place)
the BBB yooka-laylee dump was incorrect formfactor

you referencing a 2021 post is irrelevant, we did this in 2017-2018.

remember the pastebin that leaked the rcm exploit before NDA's expired? The one which had said "Real hackers hack in silence"

some of us don't take credit for things, and just get things done, because things are needed to be done.

i was there at the very start, and can name whose actually responsible for sxos.
Be careful with how much information you're willing you give out publicly. Nintendo is likely looking into anyone involved in the circumvention scene. Why do you think so many people have disappeared?

And I'd recommend the exact opposite. There's no valid reason to switch. Leave that sysmod memory pool alone.
Syspatch doesn't use any meaningful amount of memory, we are talking a few kib. Should it be an issue that causes people to fatal, then it means they were redlining the available memory anyway, and updating any one of their existing sysmodules would've causes a fatal.

Earlier in the thread some patches were suggested which greatly increased the memory usage, but thankfully this was not merged.

The scripts to generate patches are still public. If they're not being updated and you really really want ips patches for whatever reason, then you could use the pattern in syspatch in the scripts and generate patches that way. That's all syspatch is anyway, the scripts ported to the switch.

Can you show us how? I've checked the scripts but I'm still not sure how to make them, not sure how to to "feed" the scripts with the files it needs to generate those patches.

Hi everyone,
I am running AMS 1.10.2‑s with firmware 20.5.0. I had a corrupted game, so I reinstalled it together with the DLCs. One of the DLCs fails to install both through TinWoo and Goldleaf, showing the error: “Error installing NSP — error 2002‑4058 (0x1fb402): content signatures cannot be verified. Are you missing any required patches”

hekate_ipl.ini contains kip1patch=nosigchk so is this pointing to outdated patches?
Can I use sys‑patch for firmware 22.x and Atmosphere 1.11.x (I think they might be backward‑compatible), considering that I usually inject fusee.bin from Tegra, or once booted into Hekate I select fusee.bin?
I am sorry but I am rarely using the console and might be a little bit rusty with all the recent changes

sys-patch (not sys-patches) work with any firmware version retroactively. you can use sys-patch version 1.6.0 or 1.6.1 with atmossphere 1.10.2 or 1.11.0, paired with any firmware version.

since you are booting with fusee.bin, your kip1patch=nosigchk isn't applied at all.
and fs/loader .ips patches ("kip_patches") are not loaded with fusee.bin as of very long ago (removed functionality from atmosphere)

Do not update. I don't recommend it. It took me ten days to do it. Not necessary. Wait for 24.0.0 update when it comes you will want to upgrade because of the newer games and software.

22.1.0 works like a charm with medicine of latest sigpatches from @impeeza : https://gbatemp.net/attachments/hekate-ams-package3-sigpatches-1-10-2p-cfw-21-2-0_v0-zip.551052/

This will last at least for 2 years i think. This is the worst case but it will not happen off course. So be happy my friend.

By the way, 22.0.0 sigpatch medicine is from @Dmxjall81 :https://gbatemp.net/attachments/22-0-0-patches-zip.566245/ page 349
and 22.1.0 sigpatch medicine is from @AmeliaFox : https://gbatemp.net/attachments/patches-fw22-1-0-atmo1-11-1-zip.567005/ page 353 Thanks to them too.

I just updated to 22.1.0 in order to test vampire crawlers but cant make it work, it crash after a few seconds after launch
I tried https://gbatemp.net/attachments/hekate-ams-package3-sigpatches-1-10-2p-cfw-21-2-0_v0-zip.551052/ and https://gbatemp.net/attachments/patches-fw22-1-0-atmo1-11-1-zip.567005/ but nothing changes.
No problemas so far with games installed before
for me Vampire Crawlers works perfectly
Atmosphere 1.11.1
firm 22.1
sys-patch 1.6.1
DBI 878

For anyone that does not want to update for a certain game you can always try the program switch army knife to see if you can patch the game for lower switch firmwares.

There will be no sigpatch major update,
just little patches will come.

Use syspatch updates when they are out.

sys patch 1.60 is enough for a 22.1.0 system. In case of a problem use sys patch 1.61 instead.
