Is it possible to request a feature: when viewing the recently list to scroll across like the rom names do in folders… viewing the recent list; I can’t see the filenames properly especially if they’re in subdirectories…

How’d they get the recent list to only show filenames, that’s awesome and love the themes!
The best way I have found to handle the recents view is to treat it like a virtual folder. This way you can integrate it into the same interface as your normal file viewer. You can exclude file extensions and text in () or [] to clean up the names further. Apologies for the poor photo, but this allows you to achieve something like this:

Hello again, so I'm at it again, this time I try it on a known-good NDSL and it is not working. I cleaned the contacts of the cartridge and the sd slot, wiped the sd and used a soft rubber on it. PC reads sd w/o problem.
But still after the update is done no reboot and massage "no_kernel_found"
Does it matter if I come from a functioning firmware or can I just try it over and over at this point? Bc the files, I found out only get lost if I put the sd from the failed Omega into the other not updated Omega.
Thinking if it is just a electro lizzard thing that hinders the update process, trying over and over shouldn't hurt?

A 64gb SD in exFAT and 32kb cluster saved the day..... kinda crazy.

32gb FAT32 32kb cluster did not work for some reason. Not exactly obvious and took me quiet some time to figure that out

Oh yeah. Weird filesystem behavior. LMAO.

Hi Sterophonick, thank you for all the hard work making this theme.

I used it as a base for my own DS style theme

There's 7 colour options (+ a bonus Yoshi theme), including a dark mode.

Here's a preview:

Hey @FrankieT19

I tried your DS theme, after a couple days, my EzFlash Omega DE is now bricked or dead. It was and has always been fine for years using the the simple theme from @Sterophonick

I don't know if it's related to your firmware theme, but it was always working fine beforehand and it was working fine for a couple of days after trying the DS Yoshi theme

based on this information I used to debug the issue https://gbatemp.net/threads/basic-repair-guide-of-current-ez-flash-products.601332/ the crystal oscillator might be damaged, it could be coincidence but just in case it isn't and if there's an issue with the DS theme then I thought would be best to let you know, maybe there's something to check or fix so no one else losses there EzFlash Omega DE like did

when I power on my gba, it no longer shows the Nintendo logo, I have tried everything:

I have tried cleaning the contacts with ipa.

I have tried wedging a piece of paper, folded once or twice to try to make better contact.

I have tried taking the pcb out and reseating it.

I’ve tried with and without an sd card inserted.

I’ve tried reformatting the sd card (yes correctly fat32 and 32KB, yes I’ve tried another sd card, they’re both official sandisk brands)

I’ve tried other gb/gbc/gba games on my gba, gba sp and gameboy player on the gamecube to make sure they’re working.

Even if my kernel somehow broke something, there would still be a Nintendo logo as there is a safe loader that loads before the kernel. definitely contact your vendor for a replacement

Well that is reassuring to hear, I’ve been trying to figure out the issue by process of elimination, I don’t know if I can get a replacement from the seller since I’ve had this cart for a couple of years now, I might end up buying a new one or try replacing the oscillator and see if that works

Update v4.0 (Original):
- Remove Bold Option
- Replace embedded PocketNES with updated PogoShell plugin
- Some UI color tweaks

Update v1.6 (DE):
- Some UI color tweaks
- Replace embedded PocketNES with updated PogoShell plugin
- Fix issue causing Game Boy and Game Gear games to have improper save file extension
Thanks so much for keeping the project alive! :yaysp:

small update: I could not get a repair or replacement from the store I bought it from, it's been more than their 12 month warranty period, so I followed this to see if I can fix my cart myself: https://gbatemp.net/threads/basic-repair-guide-of-current-ez-flash-products.601332/

```
5. EZ-FLASH OMEGA Definitive Edition boots with no Nintendo logo.
a. The crystal oscillator on board is damaged, Replace it can fix the problem, the type of the crystal oscillator is OSC 3.3V 3225
```

Above describes the symptoms of the cart, so I ordered new crystal oscillators, same specifications required and I replaced it, unfortunately it still won't boot, I tried 6 spare oscillators just to be sure, I checked everything else on the board and everything seems to be fine including the A/B switch, all pins and traces, I can only presume that the IC or flash has died somehow

guess I will have to order a new one at some point

I had a revision B and works perfect.
(I adjunt a image to difference Rev.A from Rev.B)
There's a thread here about a brand new model that has B in the title, I don't think anyone has their hands on it yet so nobody knows about the compatibility besides @ezflash2

Latest update on the official site is about a Rev.B, but is from '22. I guess that must be the revision @Trip_Away had?. That thread might be a misunderstanding. edit: looks like it's indeed a new model? I stand corrected. Terrible naming, though.

You're somewhat mistaken on what is meant by "Revision B." They have a new version of the Omega Definitive with 960mbit of NOR and improved NOR management logic. 960 / 8 = 120 MiB of NOR flash, so you can fit a 64MiB movie ROM, an entire copy of Mother 3, and still have 24 MiB left over for whatever else. The improved NOR management logic means you don't have to select the lowest ROM in the list to be able to delete one that's above it, you can delete arbitrary ROMs from your NOR, like any modern filesystem.
