ROM Hack Rune factory 4 Gay Lest/Lesbian Frey Text fixes

Hi, I've installed the mod correctly (I think...) but the anime cutscenes that get played when a romanceable character is introduced plays for the wrong gender of characters (I'm going for lesbian frey, and all the guy characters are getting the cutscenes.) Is this supposed to happen, or have I done something wrong? Thanks

I solved my issue (figuring out which gender i'll later be able to romance). While it seems every romanceable character gets a cutscene no matter what gender you are, if youre unsure which gender is going to be romanceable later on, you can check in the start menu under the "relationships" tab, the romanceable characters will have a heart-icon under them, while non-romanceable ones will have a smiley face. I ended up losing a bunch of progress because I picked the wrong save file (I misunderstood an earlier comment, so I thought I was supposed to pick the Lest-file for mtf but it ended up being the opposite.)

Can anyone help me with this? I've been trying for the past few hours and i really dont know what to do to fix it. i placed all the files and replaced them with alignment and dialogue fix, but dialogue fix doesn't work and alignment fix uses both male and female faces, and when i tried to load the save it was corrupted and got deleted. i have game patching enabled

I've been at it for hours and didnt make any progress at all

Hello! I will try to answer your questions since I'm passing by (I tried to mod it just yesterday and had no issues):

Do you just put the luma folders on root of the SD card?
Yes, but you need to put one of the m2f (Lesbian Frey) or f2m (Gay Lest) files, whichever is to your liking. Next thing you do can be found from krq and Zimri in the thread. (I suppose the latter instructions would be more appropriate since you want to start from the beginning). It's pretty straightforward. The game tutorial can be rough to play through since it'd be a bit scuffed (wrong voice, overlapped character art). But after you changed your appearance using the Order Symbol (it's the sign in the Castle: Dragon Room), then your character would be fine.
How to know if the mod is working?
You'll know shortly after you started to play through the tutorial. If you choose the male gender and your character sprite has long green hair or if you choose the female gender and the character has short dirty blond hair, then it works.
What to do with the JKSV folder?
Since you don't want to skip the tutorial, then nothing. But I guess you can just put it in the SD card for safekeeping.

Hey I just opened this thread again and I literally jumped from happiness lol. I'm doing the mod right now with the instructions you said. Is the Order Symbol you said inside the castle unlocked right away? Also even though I put the dialogue fix and replaced the files, the tutorial text refers to me as male, is this fixed after the tutorial?

I just finished the tutorial and changed my appearance! It's still early but everything works so far. I should've finished the tutorial first now that I think about it. Thanks so much saintcheese!! No wonder you have saint in your name

Quick question, is there a way to use this mod to change the pronouns of the player character and what gender they're referred to as without changing the sprite? (eg. looking like Lest while being referred to with she/her).

Hey so I'm very late, and I'm playing the game for the first time but I really want M-M romance. I put the ftm luma folder in my root and started playing (I do have game modding enabled on Luma). The model is female and is treated as such, is it normal? Also when am I supposed to see the order to change appearance? I'm kinda lost
