Hi,

sys-patch is the key (since revision 1.5.8). You may have to manually enable this patch (not sure, but I think 1.5.9 enables it by default, you'll see by yourself) in /config/sys-patch/config.ini ← you must have used sys-patch at least once to make this ini file

no-erpt patches were added also, manual enabling required.

that is unfortunate as when i got home last night from paying bills and redeeming pawn tickets, my switch auto updated to the current version

and trying to run atmos and hekate caused me to get a black screen after the hekate loading screen

Well it is latest version that support firmware 21.2.0, but the long term issue is that the main developer SciresM is retiring, not sure if there will be newer version or how long it will take for new build if new firmware come out.

odd, my switch says it's 21.2.0 yet atmos and hekate failed to boot after the hekate loading screen

i wonder if it'd be because i have custom themes installed and didn't delete their atmos folder off my sd card before botting everything up

Yea theme cause problem, delete that when updating firmware then reapply them if you want theme.

Sometimes you need to upgrade your console, upgrade the firmware or upgrade Atmosphère, using the @l7777 's guide (https://gbatemp.net/threads/updating-hekate-atmosphere-and-hos.631739/) as base I hope to create a list of necessary steps to successful upgrade your console.

This guide uses Hekate, if you don't want to use Hekate skip the steps about it. You may loose some features.

Thanks I'll do that when I get my switch back up and running gotta wait till I get a jig
