Laughs in Switch Lite with better OLED screen + hdmi out.

I do like the lite more for portable use but I do miss rumble sometimes. The OLED screen is also much better than the Switch OLED in terms of color but the mod has a lot of dumb compromises.
Wait, if you nodded the screen then why not add Haptic Feedback (aka HD Rumble)?

Haptic Feedback is honestly really cool and the GBC/GBA emulator on Android uses it for games that have rumble. :)

are there actual mods to re-add rumble into switch lite?

I'm not very well informed about it, but seems not? The closest is an attachment that activates rumble (not Haptic Feedback aka HD Rumble).

Makes the Switch Lite look ugly, tbh.

There's no mod for it yet and there's barely any space, no known trace in the board where it could be taken from or interest.

in what sense of the term?

The switches are flat with no where to grip. Go hold something like a steam deck or a controller which has actual grips and go back to holding a switch. I've owned all three switch models and none of them are comfortable to hold beyond an hour. I have a steam deck which is heaver but better to hold because there was some thought about ergonomics.

Honestly don't grasp why Nintendo fans are so defensive about this.

Fully agree about ergonomic grips being essential.

The previous poster was making a joke about whether you meant "acquire an ergonomic grip" or like "jfc dude get a fucking grip".

Surprisingly I like switch lite with no grip at best. Bought a couple of cases printed a couple of grips in the end the added weight made it not so good experience for me but I love it without any grips. At this point it must be obvious to y'all I am weird as hell considering I sold the OLED for a lite already though :)

As a side note I am really happy with lite. I find myself preferring to get into a quick game on lite instead of using my monster of a gaming PC which I didn't expect, but hey maybe novelty will wear off. I also find it insane that I can play games I enjoyed on pc and xbox when I was younger like borderlands series on such a small device with arguably very outdated chipset. Like AC Black Flag, OMG I spend hours playing that on XBOX now many years later I find myself immersed in it again.

Overally lite was the right choice for me. It is getting me genuinely interested back into gaming, as I got older I forgot the wonder I was feeling when playing games with limited time and problems pressing on. I was like that meme where you finally got old enough to buy a great PC but realise games doesn't give you same joy anymore. Turns out lite was the push I needed.

If your muscles can’t handle 0.9 lbs for 30 seconds, the problem probably isn’t the console. Maybe it’s time to play a little less and add some hypertrophy training to your routine

If I were to buy a Switch Lite, it'd be the Zelda Edition it simply looks stunning.

What a comment lol, do you feel better about yourself now? Sorry not everyone is up to your standarts, I am just a 50kg woman so perhaps my comfort level is different than yours. I can understand talking about pros and cons of different consoles which was my original question but taking actual time of your day to make such a personal comment is pathetic. I also fish and can confirm even 100grams of weight difference in rods and reels can make all the difference for fatique build up even for my muscular friends. But hey, what do I know making a personal purchase decision for myself? Surely you know everything about my life to be able to make such a comment. What a shame, but I suppose some bad eggs are also around even in this community which I've found is filled with kind and helpful people.

I got one of these a while back, it's a night and day difference. Switch is literally unplayable for me without it, as I don't have tiny hands. I don't really care about the weight, as it's light anyway, Steamdeck also doesn't bother me weight wise.

I think I bought an OLED with that grip, but it's in black. I'm not really a fan of the "space" design, tbh.

There was the Xbox One X also with a "space" theme, but to me it looked like a white/black console with paint marks all over it.

All my Switch 1 stuff is Galaxy themed, even my hardcase and my game case. It looks good all together.
