When i try to use the Sysmodule overlay in Uber/Ultrahand... It doesnt work at all. The overlay vanishes after i choose it and only opens if i press same combo again, but it lands on the Mainmenu again. So the Sysmodule overlay doesnt open.

That is a good point. Ultrahand is a replacement for Tesla.

It have two components:
  • A sysmodule, which is indeed Tesla/Ultrahand/uberhand. which runs in background and when you press a configurable combo of keys, then an app is called.
  • The called App is a Overlay which is read from SDMC:/switch/.overlays/ovlmenu.ovl that overlay can have a own menu and modules and also read anothers overlays from SDMC:/switch/.overlays/ and show a menu of them allowing you to run them as another overlay.

@impeeza once installed how do i activate it,like in the screenshot you posted in the previous post?

Pressing the setup key combo, the default one is
L+DUP+R
you can change it on the file SDMC:/config/tesla/config.ini for tesla or SDMC:/config/ultrahand/config.ini For ultrahand.

There's one game, no matter where I get it from, it never installs right. I get a spinning loading wheel for an icon, and an error of 2155-8007 when I try to run it. I just want to play some namco picross dang it, why is it such a problem?
 
Guys,how is it possible for the Switch to automatically update itself if automatic updates are disabled in the settings?

Is not. but the update is downloaded and then is ask to upgrade and if you accept the upgrade will happen. so read every message before press [A]

@impeeza this happened to me today: i was transferring some files via FTP from Switch to smartphone and in the end i found myself with the latest update installed and in settings i have everything off,precisely to avoid these things.

Я сделал так, как он сказал, и когда я хотел зайти в DBI, у меня завис экран, и я ничего не мог сделать. Я выключил приставку, но её можно включить только с помощью tegrarcmgui. Я пытаюсь включить её, но появляется только чёрный экран. Я прикрепил фото. Я не знаю, что делать. Можете подсказать, пожалуйста

ONLY UPDATE YOUR CONSOLE TO 2x.x.x IF ALL THE HOMEBREW YOU USE IS UPGRADED




Sometimes you need to upgrade your console, upgrade the firmware or upgrade Atmosphère, using the @l7777 's guide (https://gbatemp.net/threads/updating-hekate-atmosphere-and-hos.631739/) as base I hope to create a list of necessary steps to successful upgrade your console.

This guide uses Hekate, if you don't want to use Hekate skip the steps about it. You may loose some features.




Make a backup.​

Always make a full backup of your console, so if...​

I updated my emummc firmware to 20.5.0 following the recommended guide, but I've got a small problem: I can't load any games. The files still seem to be there (see the photo of the 'Software' page), but the homescreen is just full of blank squares. Opening one gives a "Could not start the software" error. Can anyone help with this?

EDIT: nvm I fixed it. For the record, what worked was deleting the '00FF747765616BFF' folder in atmosphere/contents. Sys tweak doesn't seem to be compatible with newer firmware

I am new to switch modding and just modded my switch
At first it worked but i was on version 21.00.00 so i looked into downgrading firmware and found you could with daybreak
So i went trough the process but now every time i try to open emummc cfw i get this error after is shows the atmosphere logo and the switch logo loads for a bit and then boom i get this crash every time
Does anyone know anyway to fix it or has anyone got an idea i have tried a lot of things but nothing worked please help

@mister2456 i had the same idea to down grade at 20.5.0 as you and i have the same error and now it doesn't even restart in OFW black screen.
