Can't speak for anywhere else but the Pikachu N64 was for sure sold in the US. I remember it being on the shelves at ToysRUs. Wish I'd bought one then.

but when I try doing it myself, it’s not as easy as it looks in the video lol

need to go to barber to fix my hair....

I was totally wrong. I assumed it was JP only but they got an exclusive orange variant along with the blue that was released everywhere haha
Wish I got the orange instead but it was a good deal regardless

Start with practising on your dog/ cat or any family/ friends pet. Or grab a Racoon from the wild, and have at it. Practise makes perfect

I got a similar trimmer a while ago to replace an old one and on the first go I forgot that, unlike the old one, the "zero" setting on the new one has the trimmer blades poking out through the spacer comb and is actually zero... and I shaved my mustache off. Not my brightest moment.

I got some news today I guess, if you can call it that. Last summer in Tokyo my daughter found me a LNIB N3DSLL Happy Home Designer Limited Edition. She wasn't looking for that model specifically, it's just what she ran into. With the currency exchange it cost me about $320. Thought about putting this in the 3DS forum, but it isn't specifically about the 3DS. Could be any old console.

A couple months ago, my wife and daughter came home from an extended stay in Japan, and one of the items they brought home for me was a Happy Home Designer edition New 3DSLL. (you may have seen it if you follow the 'Things I bought or got" thread.) And it is basically perfect. The retailer provided a certificate of condition, and it got no negative marks. That's as to the condition of the console...

I definitely felt the sting paying that, but today I looked into values for the original 3DS launch model for a thread in the 3DS section, and found a website called pricecharting.com. It scrapes actual ebay sales, i.e. it doesn't count auctions where the item never sold. I'm sure the numbers are ballpark averages, and valuations of collectibles doesn't mean there's always a buyer, but still someone paid the prices they report. Out of curiosity, I decided to see how my Happy Home Designer was faring. It's insane. And my Happy Home Designer N3DSLL isn't "New," but it's a lot better than merely 'CIB.'

Need to thank my daughter, again.

I got a new 2280 USB/Type C adapter that's going to live behind my TV. I had a spare Skhynix drive that wasn't getting use. Now I can directly download a mkv from my phones type c port swap it around and easily have my TV detect it in exFat. Also super useful for install to type c only devices.

Transfered 3GB in like 60 seconds only downer wish the type c end was a bit longer doesn't seem to be case friendly without a adapter. Oh well.

I've had an interesting run of it the last few weeks, I usually take pics after clean up for a friend of mine in another state as it's a thing we do. Last time I put something here was some 32x stuff and a CD a month ago. At the end of the month I ended up getting what maybe a potential semi-regular at a flea market who sells stuff nicely under reality and I had back to back hits with that into June (until last week, wasn't there, hoping a return tomorrow.) The games in the corner of the first image were 110, got the ps setup for 20 and 64-red pad for 5 at a later garage sale.

The second image was the source 120 and that's for all the nes, 64, snes games. Retail I got the NES box(manual, poster, inserts) for 30 and same on that CD, and I was given that Allstars switch case free, and the mario kart hotwheel was a dollar. I grabbed the NES box because I still have my original game, but not the rest, a personal favorite.

Last weekend was a banger too, love retail foul ups. The NGPC games there were 40, 45 and 75, they're original sealed excellent shape best I can tell worth 1000 on resale market and I'm keeping them. The 3DS game been trying to find that offline for a couple years now it was 35 and welcome as I don't have gamecube. The pika-clock/calculator 2 controllers and wings was 15, 5 more for the complete minus game 4 DS cases (ignore mario switch) and 13 for the tony hawk+gba+turok spread.

I've got more coming for this week/weekend. I rarely have luck, consistent luck means I'm asking for a months long dry spell probably unless the local area has turned the corner.
