What do you think of this setup?

It's sad.

I would choose a better CPU ' would go for a 9600X.
I don't like brandless memory, but you do what you got to do,

What do you intend to do with the PC?

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and its good enough for me gaming at 1080p with a 3060Ti. Maybe someone else can comment if you can get better value today though.

The GPU is getting on a bit now, but should still be usable depending what you want to play.

I'd change the ram and SSD to some known brands, as I have done here in this PC Part Picker example here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Kz393w

With those changes it should be an ok entry level build you can upgrade in the future.

I suspect DDR4 3600 memory probably will work, however its not listed as supposed by the motherboard you are buying: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B550-EAGLE-WIFI6/sp#sp so I chose DDR4 3200 memory in the PC Part Picker link above to be safe. By all means do your own research though, I only had a quick look at your parts.

I agree with what others have said about the RAM and SSD.

I bought Patriot RAM for my first PC build, and it was a disaster. Lots of errors on the OS install, lots of time troubleshooting to find where the issue was, etc. Once I replaced the Patriot RAM with Corsair sticks, everything worked flawlessly. I know it's more money, but I recommend staying with popular brands for the hard drive and RAM to avoid similar headaches.

If you're looking to save money, you can get a simple keyboard and a Logitech mouse for about $20 USD total. I noticed that the keyboard and mouse added about $75 USD to the final amount.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

As I've said before to peeps. "I'm no Tek", but I don't see any "FAN(s) or Cooling system" being mentioned for this side of it. js.

3600 comes with a cpu cooler, it's not great, but it's adequate and will do if you are on a tight budget and can't stretch to a better 3rd party one. Case includes fans.

I agree with @InsaneNutter on the ram, corsair is a good choice, but I think G.skill is a good one too and might save you some money, though ram in general seems to have increased in price recently. For running the OS, WD is also what I would go for, Teamgroup is a bit hit or miss from what I've read, but I have one of their ssds as secondary storage and I haven't had any issues.

For the PSU, if you don't plan to upgrade your PC any time soon then the one you picked is a good choice, and I'm with @Armadillo regarding the CPU cooler, if you already have one and aren't planning on upgrading soon then just use that.

As @Robert Newbie mentioned, you can get a cheap mouse and keyboard to save some cash, I wouldn't spend more than 25 dollars on a keyboard unless it's a mechanical one.

That GTX 1080 is almost 10 years old. If you're going to use it for gaming, don't expect miracles even at 1080p.
It still holds up to this day, I play games on it on my dads pc, and it works great. 144 frames with high settings on fortnite, rocket league, and Minecraft. Runs 100 frames on COD at mid settings with 1080p. It works for about another 3-4 years. Then I'll upgrade

I strongly disagree.
These things will be hard to get at a decent price for many many years and it's a great time to be alive gaming wise.
Given the skyrocketing RAM prices, I suspect it will be next to impossible to build an equivalent PC at the same price as whatever valve sets.

They can get special deals on everything because volume. We cannot.

RAM prices are sky rocketing due to AI, you'd best get in there while you can. However 16GB of ram is not great these days, you should be looking at 32+ really.

Storage, you should use 2 drives, 1 smaller SSD for booting of the OS, and a secondary SSD/HDD for the actual storage. Will ensure better performance of the machine. Get a 128SSD for the OS or similar, then use a 1TB SSD for actual files/games etc.

With the build you're making you're going to struggle to play newer games on any decent settings, and will likely have performance issues. If you can, i'd say spend a little more and get better performance. I build PCs for people, but UK based, so can't offer a similar build for your budget.

You might also look at refurbed GPU as you can likely get a better card for cheaper. You could also try aliexpress, they've some good deals, but you're taking a risk as it may not be as listed. Not personally bought a CPU from there, but others have and they seem fine.

Look at a Radeon GPU rather than Nvidia, as you'll get more bang for your buck too.

Seems better than mine
Not everyone is fortunate enough to live in countries that can get this stuff as it can be dependent upon where its made and political-economic stuff too. I presume from your signature you're in South America, Bolivia perhaps? Im not great at South American currenices.

There will always be someone who has better than you, unless you're upgrading every new cycle. I mean im running an AM4 setup, but AM5 has been out for a while now, but it's massively expensive for what it brings. People were eager to upgrade to the RTX series, but the cards were less vram than the previous iteration of nvidia cards.

Im running an eagle 6600, although I bought a 9050, but i'll likely send it back as I just use the PC for solitaire, and I now use a VM instead as it's easier and cheaper. Don't be down on yourself, you'll still be in a better position than some people.
