So i got a ps5 (EDM-033) and i get a been (like normal power on) and no lights at all.
I checked the board and no sorts on 12v rail. 5v and 3.3v looks ok but obviously i miss something.
When i inject 12v it stays at 0.3A for the whole time (no drop at all) and the wifi chip is getting warm (not hot just warm).
I dont have uart or thermal camera ( im thinking to invest there soon).

Any ideas?

You can use 99% isopropyl alcohol to look for components getting hot if you lack a thermal cam.
But it all comes down to guessing without an uart dongle.
The PS5 might already be telling you what the issue is.
An uart is something like $10 USD so definitely worth investing in before you start randomly replacing stuff.

(note the modification he made because the original design assumes that the device you connect to also uses 5V instead of 3.3V)

There are also 2V and 1.8V voltage rails in the PS5 which drive all the main chips.
But read up on this forum for all details.
