if you can cheat them into the game via the item code then they're already released and available they're just not legal that's why the pokemon home legality checker is forbidding them to transfer but if you bypass pokemon home with a save transfer to your switch 2 then you can get the mega stones on your legit switch 2 copy so everyone that has done that has said. I think another way is to do a lan transfer from your modded switch to your switch 2 with pokemon holding those mega stones you can get them into your legit switch 2 copy as well. not sure on the latter but others have succeeded with the former. I don't have a switch 2 so I wouldn't be able to confirm that. I'd still recommend waiting for pkhex bc pkhex might fix it so the legality checker in pokemon home can be fooled somehow.

They aren't officially released and are therefore unavailable through normal/non-cheating means. I should've specified I meant the "officially" unreleased ones and not the DLC ones.

There's no legality checker in play, afaik, nor is Home in play. I am not attempting to transfer anything from one copy to Home back down to another copy. Home support isn't in the game yet.

I am not trying to transfer my save between the two as I don't wanna risk being banned/account banned from Nintendo either therefore I am only trying to trade the stones from a cheated save on my Jailbroken Switch, which is done over LAN and not the Internet, to my legit save on my Switch 2. others have said on here that you definitely won't be banned for transferring your save up to your switch 2 bc nintendo can't even see the save and as long as you don't cheat in multiplayer then you won't get banned. and the only officially unreleased mega stones will be in dlc 2 so if they didn't get released outside of the already released dlc 1(mega dimension) then they will be in dlc 2. I highly doubt they will do an event just for mega stones.

Reinstalling the base game worked for me... I realized that (at least in my case) it's the game that's corrupted, not the save.

I also deleted the toogles.txt file inside the cheats folder.

So, to speed up the process, I put the installation file [v0] inside a small folder on the SD card for easy access whenever I have this problem.
