Are there any reviews out for this yet? I saw the commercial in the UK with Michael Owen and Iain Wright, looks like a lot of fun

**Edit 8.6 on IGN? Seem's like it's pretty good!

Downloaded it last night, so I'm going to try it after my work

Played the series since PES3, so I'm hoping to get surprised in a nice new gameplay way

Is this the place where i can thank god for this incredible innovative/ next gen release!

Well,.. thanks anyways!

I always believed in you!

Only defending feels a bit out of control, but i know thats tricky to balance such things, next release should make defending 2 times as easy as offending imo,.

FINALLY,
an enjoyable game of soccer ... all systems considered over the last 25 years.
Haven't had this much fun since International Soccer on the C64, which was fun for completely different reasons.

International Soccer (1983) for those of you who missed those wonderful years ...

match day 2 was great, with the power bar for that made it easy to do back passes. But then a few years later I was spending whole summer's playing Sensible Soccer tournements with friends. Looking forward to trying this...

agreed, this game is amazing, admittedly i have always been a fifa man all my life but this game is a whole new experience altogether. if you are having a hard time getting used to the control, perservere, do all the tutorials. i have been playing champions road all day, and i assumed i was nearly finished, boy was i wrong, i still have loads to do, and i cant wait. if only they had the real names, would be the perfect game

I've played this game a couple of time in the past 2 days. I don't know, controls are very weird.
I don't like the fact that there are all those arrows and signs on the pitch.

I'd like to have (every game!) gamecube controller support!

btw - is there a save game with already edited players/teams?

i thought the same thing but the more you play the more you get used to it and realise how great and accurate the new controls work.

i was annoyed with the defending, but then i worked out how to do it properly.

There are some moves that are taught later in the game that may increase your enjoyment: drag defending helps a lot (drag player back with A to block player and then hold Z to tackle), sliding tackles are done by holding Z and shaking the nunchuk, chip the keeper by up flicking the wiimote when the keeper rushes you. offside trap - flick wiimote towards the opposing goal. one-two passing: drag with A, hold then release B

similar question to raylene, has anyone seen a ppf to an edited player/team roster
