Following the Impessa guide, should I update to the pre-release of Atmosphere (v180) or the stable (v171)? Also for firmware, should I go for 1901 or any of the older ones? Thanks! ^^ Glad to help.
If you don't want to start from scratch but want to update the existing CFW (provided that you're on Atmosphere and not SX OS), check this guide.
As for the rentry guide specifically, you can check the archive.org for archived pages. I'm sure that most if not all is still available there.
I'm currently on the latest Atmosphere 1,8,0-pre and firmware 19.0.1 and, as far as I'm concerned, everything works properly.Following the Impessa guide, should I update to the pre-release of Atmosphere (v180) or the stable (v171)? Also for firmware, should I go for 1901 or any of the older ones?

I think we need some more info on what you are trying to do (unless I missed a post or something). For starters, although I doubt this is your first time using TegraRCM, did you actually go to the settings tab and install the driver? Without that, Tegra won't properly recognize your Switch.I've tried this but Tegra keeps coming up not responding when injecting payload. Tried like 6 usb cables and nothing
i think that you cannot replace files that are in use like atmos and hekate...Yes, I do it via Hekate's SD card mounting tool.
When you use Hekate's UMS THERE IS NO FILES IN USE Hekate is loaded on the console's memory and the card is mounted full read/write on to the PC.i think that you cannot replace files that are in use like atmos and hekate...
Yes, you can, can I delete this now or is those files in use?
I can not recall a homebrew needing that folder. For security backup it and delete italso have a folder called just /firmware
I really appreciate all the help I can get here with noob-questions, fast and helpful answers all the time, it's incredible!! It would not be possible without you all! Thanks everyone!
I successfully upgraded my CFW and have a question regarding the firmware folder I created during the upgrade process. I saved my FW-files in a folder called /firmware1810 in the root on my SD-card, can I delete this now or is those files in use?
...I also have a folder called just /firmware in the root of the SD-card, I assume this is from the previous time I upgraded but cannot recall. Is this supposed to be there or can I delete it given the same scenario/question above?
