Somewhat off-topic (sorry about that), but seeing this is related to Halloween, and I saw some posts jokingly talking about blades hidden in apples, what's your opinion on people who actually give kids candies with hidden needles inside? I was seeing that in the news yesterday, it happened in a few places nearby. Are there really people who hate small children so much that they would actively try to hurt them? I mean, if they are just annoyed with kids ringing their doorbell for trick or treating, just don't decorate your house for Halloween, and that's it, no one will bother you.

I don't think they actually exist. There's no monetary gain to putting needles or drugs into Halloween candy

Tyrkisk peber (both regular and hot&sour)
Chocolate with relatively high cocoa content
Cirkus Alphabets
Salty licourice in general - I guess it's a nordic thing

I still think sources like the news inflate things a bit. And in all of the neighborhoods I've gone to for Halloween (I've never really lived in a neighborhood) I've never seen a razor blade or a needle in candy

One candy bar that is really slept on and is high-key bad-ass is Hershey's SKOR bar. An absolute delight if you're a toffee lover like me.

Freeze-dried Skittles just hit different, if you've never had them. You can buy them off Amazon. Kinda spendy, but making them is a whole process just like beef jerky, so that's why. (It's very time consuming to make and uses lots of electricity.)
