need help with my DS R4I gold card

picked up two 2022 R4 SDHC Adapter Dual Core flash cards alongside 2 64 gig sandisk micro sd cards does anyone know if YSMENU will work on these cards pictures of the cards are below if YSMENU wont work then what firmware/kernel do i need?

Sure! This will work with YSMENU.
But mine, apparently identical to that one, supports up to 32 GB at most.

Appears to be an Ace3DS+/R4iLS clone, you can find the firmware here: https://archive.flashcarts.net/Ace3DS+_R4iLS/Ace3DS+_R4iLS_Wood_R4_1.62.zip

Wood R4 and TWLMenu++ only works with this card, YSMenu does not.

@SylverReZ what would happen if i loaded YSmenu onto my r4 card and then botted up my dsiXL with the r4 card in it?

@SylverReZ assuming YSMENU wont work is there a guide that tells me how to install TWLMenu++ on the R4 card? gonna set this up as a gift for a 10 year old girl whos family cant afford a birthday gift for her so i need to make sure i install everything properly at least as far as the firmware/kernel/ TWLMenu++/YSMENU goes

That page is not accessible in my country. Anyway if you think it's the same flashcart, then the kernel I posted above should work. But note that the writing on the label does not match.

There's a list of flashcarts supported on the page. The card you have does not have a timebomb, only the R4i-SDHC demon cards do, but this is entirely kernel-based not on the cart's internal firmware.

Not sure if your post was clear, but clearly this sounds like bad advice to someone without researching into the matter. Running the wrong type of kernel is not how you diagnose which cart supports whichever kernel, and in many cases, it could cause unexpected consequences such as bricks (just like I mentioned with YSMenu). There are a bazillion or so R4 cards with R4i-SDHC on them, they all have different circuit boards inside.

And then I advised him/her to try the software recommended by the other user (you) first. On the other hand, it is not very smart to buy a flashcart without first inquiring about its kernel (usually indicated by the seller via link). "He who makes his bed must lie in it!"

Oh, I thought you meant that literally. And I do agree with your point that it's not smart to buy a flashcart without looking for the correct kernel.
