Appears to be an Ace3DS+/R4iLS clone, you can find the firmware here: https://archive.flashcarts.net/Ace3DS+_R4iLS/Ace3DS+_R4iLS_Wood_R4_1.62.zippicked up two 2022 R4 SDHC Adapter Dual Core flash cards alongside 2 64 gig sandisk micro sd cards does anyone know if YSMENU will work on these cards pictures of the cards are below if YSMENU wont work then what firmware/kernel do i need?
Not the correct firmware, I'm afraid.Sure! This will work with YSMENU.
But mine, apparently identical to that one, supports up to 32 GB at most.
Welp, upon closer inspection the r4 is apparently similar, but the writings differ, so...@Nikokaro any chance you can show me a pic of your r4 card just wanna see what it looks like
That page is not accessible in my country. Anyway if you think it's the same flashcart, then the kernel I posted above should work. But note that the writing on the label does not match.@Nikokaro this is the one i bought its the gold one theres several for sale but i bought the gold one

If you load YSMenu onto this cart, it will potentially brick it. TWLMenu++ guide is right here: https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/twilightmenu/installing-flashcard@SylverReZ what would happen if i loaded YSmenu onto my r4 card and then botted up my dsiXL with the r4 card in it?

@SylverReZ assuming YSMENU wont work is there a guide that tells me how to install TWLMenu++ on the R4 card? gonna set this up as a gift for a 10 year old girl whos family cant afford a birthday gift for her so i need to make sure i install everything properly at least as far as the firmware/kernel/ TWLMenu++/YSMENU goes
There's a list of flashcarts supported on the page. The card you have does not have a timebomb, only the R4i-SDHC demon cards do, but this is entirely kernel-based not on the cart's internal firmware.@SylverReZ wouldnt TWLMenu++ brick my device if its not supported? the listing on aliexpress says the device come with a firmware/kernel i just have no way of knowing if it has the time bomb included
Not sure if your post was clear, but clearly this sounds like bad advice to someone without researching into the matter. Running the wrong type of kernel is not how you diagnose which cart supports whichever kernel, and in many cases, it could cause unexpected consequences such as bricks (just like I mentioned with YSMenu). There are a bazillion or so R4 cards with R4i-SDHC on them, they all have different circuit boards inside.I don't know what else to say. Try what my son () @SylverReZ recommended first; if they don't work, try my version of YSMENU. I repeat: shape and color match, but the writing is different.
I mentioned that previously if you read my other posts. A link to the listing would be useful instead of linking to other images which doesn't match to what version you bought.@SylverReZ what loader do i use for my flash cart???
What? Would this be thanks for wanting to help you? I clearly said that aesthetically my r4 is similar to that one but the writing is different. And then I advised him/her to try the software recommended by the other user (you) first. On the other hand, it is not very smart to buy a flashcart without first inquiring about its kernel (usually indicated by the seller via link). "He who makes his bed must lie in it!"You're clearly giving bad advice to someone without researching into the matter
Oh, I thought you meant that literally. And I do agree with your point that it's not smart to buy a flashcart without looking for the correct kernel.I clearly said that aesthetically my r4 is similar to that one but the writing is different.
