Hacking I just turned on my Wii u randomly and all my games are deleted.

So long story short when I went to go turn on my Wii u, it had all the games, Twilight princess HD wind waker HD and lots of other Zelda games and so many others, then when I turn on my Wii u this morning they're all gone. I don't know if it's a pretendo glitch or what. But I'm honestly stuck, because I can't get my games back and apparently all my memory is taken up. I can't delete truly anymore. And I don't know what caused it. It's like the memory of the games are still there, but for some reason, I can't play them and I have to redownload everything. Is this a known glitch? Please help.

I think it said MLC for the issue when I try to redownload, but I think it also said nand when it starts saving and gives me the memory full thing. My question is why did all those games fit before and now my console can hardly store anything?

You have a 3 options to choose:
1. Format everything
2. Manually connect through ftp and delete installed games yourself "storage_mlc/usr/title/00050000"
  • In this directory, you should see folders with 8 character names
    • This is the last 8 digits of each games "Title ID", which allows to Wii U to uniquely identify each game by a number, instead of a name
  • You can use the full list of each game's Title ID to identify which game is which, found here
  • Copy the Title ID of the game and use Ctrl+F to search for it
3. Create a new user and see if console would see them

Because the data is still there. It hasn't disappeared or deleted, it is corrupt. Either your nand is on its way out or your hdd is, which is where your games should be stored really.

I'm personally not sure if anything is recoverable as i'll let more knowledgeable people answer that but it sounds like you may have to virgin your console and start again if it lets you.
