Pirated Wii U Games refusing to run on Wii U - Error "This software cannot be used"

Just yesterday I installed two Wii U games onto a USB flash drive I have hooked up to my Wii U, Super Mario Maker and Art Academy: Sketchpad. But, every time I try to run the games, I get this specific error:

"This software cannot be used.

The Nintendo Network ID used to purchase the software has been deleted."

I'm using Aroma homebrew, downloaded the games off of NUSspli, and have a Pretendo Network account hooked up to the system to use services such as Juxasposition (Pretendo's revival of the Miiverse.)

Any ideas as to what the problem is and how I could fix it? Thanks. :)
 
Check if you have a file on your SD card called 01_sigpatches.rpx

You will find it in (wiiu/environments/aroma/modules/setup)

If it is not there then that is your issue and you will need to search the internet for 01_sigpatches.rpx

Did that, but now:

1. It won't let me sign into my Pretendo account, even if I enter the password correctly.
2. It still won't work.

Also, I just checked. Now NO HOMEBREW will work. Just tried doing the ZL + lower D-Pad button + Y trick to open up the module menu, but nothing will come up.

That's because Nintendo knows that you're pirating your games from you're homebrewed Wii U there's no way to unpirate you're games now. I'm really sorry to say.

I get the same message. I have a Haxchi modded WiiU. I did that years ago and havent used it in a very long time. I never heard of Aroma until this day. Yesterday I took the console out of the box for my nephew to play some old games.
I have a bunch of games installed on an external drive. Weirdly, installed WiiU games load just fine. But it wont start any Wii or other VC games. It says the NNID has been deleted. I dont rememeber how the hack worked exactly because it was so long ago. Was it a physical game I had to use or a eshop game? was it the mailbomb (I think that was Wii)? But I don't think I have ever been online with the WiiU.
I cant even enter the WiiU settings or the Haxchi menu. It crashes and I get error message 160-2215.
I checked my SD card and there's no sig rpx file. All I see is sig patcher.elf. Any chance I can get this back to work? or do I have to reset the console and switch to Aroma? that even possible?

This mod/hack with all the installed games was a lot of work. A lot of info to process. A lot of steps. It was painful. Hate to see it wasted.
Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

You do not have to reset the console to run Aroma. Go to wiiu.hacks.guide and follow the instructions to install Aroma. IF YOU ARE RUNNING CBHC, PLEASE BE CAREFUL! MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS!

Alright, I'll check it out... carefully. But I might have to reset because as I said I can't even open the settings. This is so strange. Everything worked perfectly fine when I put the console away years ago. So annoying.
Yeah, I'll have to read into this and Aroma and start from scratch once I feel motivated enough... I guess.:sad:

Please do not factory reset your wii u unless you are sure CBHC is uninstalled, or your wii u will BRICK!
 
Thanks for the heads-up. Today I started reading into it. It's a memory issue. Apparently it's common failure especially when console hasnt been tunrned on for a long time which is the case with my wiiU. Solution is replacing the memory with a sd-card. That involves soldering. The kit (Nand Aid) can be bought online. Many things still unclear to me becaue my console is modded. RedNand apparently also an alternative non-hardware solution. The problem is I cant enter any settings or menus. I can play wiiU games, I can play installed vc game (official one, not injected, injected ones expired for some reason)). But I can't enter Settings or Haxchi or any other WiiU menu. I immediately get error code 160-0103.

Yea, your wii u has probably went the way of the dodo. Consider using a nand aid or just buying another wii u off of ebay. You may be able to get just the console for cheap
