I followed youtube tutorials to mod my Mariko switch and I admit I was not fully understanding the process and I used youtubers' zip files to mod it. Everything was working fine until today I wanted to update my CFW to 17.0.1. It updated fine but then when I attempted to update OFW I realized something weird.
My switch in OFW shows firmware in this format: "16.0.2|AMS 1.6.1|S"
Now I didn't pay much attention to it before as I assumed that's how it's supposed to be. But when watching youtube today for instance this video: (skip to 12:56)
I realized this guy has this info in completely clean format so no mention of "AMS |S".
Why is that? What did I do wrong (if any)? Does the fact that my console mentions AMS in sysnand make it dirty?
How can I have it in clean format like in the video?
Another question. Is this normal that in Sysnand (OFW) I see all the homebrew apps in gallery? It confuses me because if OFW is supposed to be clean not to get banned how come sysnand can get access to homebrew apps? Won't Nintendo see this when I go online to update my firmware?
You suppose to create an emunand to seperate your homebrew and pirated content from online content, and don't follow a youtube video, follow a written guide like https://rentry.org/SwitchHackingIsEasy
