Contra 4 multi-player mode works fine with a-data,
the only problem I've with this card so far is UMKDS vs mode.
So, I guess it's a media issue..it works on slower cards but not faster cards (class 6).

I have a CP2, and it works fine, the card is a 6gb Sandisk
also I think it should be noted that the statistics for the people who have had bad real cards from the new batch is much worse than the vote statistics initially show.
1) there aren't as many people with the newer cards so proportionally the failure rate is higher ("E" cards have 15 to 6 but "2" cards only have 47 to 2) so thats:
28% of people with new E cards saying theirs failed (nearly a third)
4% of people with the older 2 cards saying their failed
which means from just those votes so far the ratio means you are seven times more likely to have a failure on the newer cards, but it is actually worse than that still!
2) since the older cards have been in service longer and have still had a lower rate of reported failures, the ratio is only going to get worse and worse as all the new "E" cards are put to prolonged use and begin to suffer the failures associated with that.
just thought Id breakdown the numbers, and depress people even more if they have one of the new cards

Just for the heck of it, I tried downgrading the System Files from 3.0 to 2.9. And now Ultimate Mortal Kombat works perfectly on A-data 4gb microSDHC Class 6, no more freezes under 1 min. Download Play Mode, 2 vs 2 Mode, and Tournament Mode, they all working fine.
Haha, here's the funny thing, during my testing (when I had the A-data), I had less errors downgrading the system files from 2.9 to 2.8. However, I finally ran into an error and got fustrated. It was like a nonstop week of testing. The two things that bothered me most: freeze during long videos & freeze while you scroll through your games. It told me to stick to small capacity cards.

1. Castlevania , the opening movie is lagged. Both US and Eur version. But the movie in Portrait of Ruins runs smoothly.
2. Cooking Mama 2, when in the Pizza Section the game is hang, if you turn on the Soft-Reset. But if you turn in off, the game isn't hang anymore.
The others is running normally, but I haven't tried Mortal Kombat, don't have the game yet.
GBA game tested: FFTactic Advance, Tactic Ogre, Onimusha Tactic, Metal Slug Advance, SRW Original Gens1&2(US).
Everything works fine, excpet SRW Original 2 hang after GBA Logo, using Fast Load. Tried Patch-mode takes a lot of time of processing (about 5 min) but the game still not running. Doh!
I remember when using Supercard SD there's a patch for SRWOG2. Don't know if there's any for M3Real.
Oh, btw when I'm running the DPG using Multimedia menu, the bottom screen is pink collor sometimes glitch, but in upper screen the movie is still played.

OK. I have a CPE. Using system 3.0. A number of games, such as Mario Party don't work with soft-reset on. This is probably true for everyone. Kinda sucks but it's not a deal-breaker.

I have a CPE, sometimes I have to replace the roms (probably just a corruption from windows), but other than that, everything works perfectly as far as I can tell.
I use an Apacer 2GB card, works perfectly fine, and I bought it for $18 (US $7 I think)

Go with M3 Real..
M3 Simply is great..But it is a little "outdated".
M3 Real is getting a new firmware release, so it should get much better..You won't go wrong with it..

Yes it is..really starting to look great..
I'm hoping, and really believe so, that M3 Real is going to take the first place of the flash carts just as it was the best before..M3 Real has some problems with the current firmware, but it's all about to change..
And by the way..I'm using CP2 with the 4GB SanDisc Class 2!! And never had any problems with the games I played (Even the both Castlevanias are running great)..Only thing I didn't get to work properly for me is the MoonShell 1.71..I know that M3 Real has it's own MoonShell, but I got used to that other one, and made myself a skin to go with the skin of the firmware and everything..and that MoonShell worked flawlessly on my M3 Simply, but I just can't get it to work that great on M3 Real..I did boot it both ways Slot 1 and Slot 2, and it works better on Slot 2, but Movies got all unsincronised when I watch the that way, and if I use Slot 1, it doesn't even respond on touch screen!!
So now I'm using my M3 Simply for media only (it's really perfect for it), and M3 Real for gaming..and I'm really full satisfied customer!!

Could I have been duped into buying a non-english version card?
It does not load any ROMS at all
They all go black screen and each time the M3 writes corrupted data back to the SD card rendering the card unusable!

@damoyoung: It could be the fact that you bought chinese version, or even a clone of the cart (which I doubt, because, it would be the first time anyone reported a clone of M3 Real)..But try downloading chinese firmware, and see what will happen..
I have a CP2 that I bought at the start of January from anytoys.co.uk, and haven't had a single problem since.
