I am just saying that man kind is going to fail, they are not going to save the world, and I fear they are too ignorant to even postpone the inevitable suffering that the ignorance of the few can bring upon us all.
Bit of a misnomer there, the world doesn't need saving. It'll be just fine if humans go extinct, and even if we take out most other forms of life along the way. We need only to save ourselves, from ourselves. I suppose I can agree with the general sentiment, though: we're not acting with enough urgency to prevent any of the existential crises facing us today, only enough to slightly delay the consequences.

Not everyone who attends the Elite schools are elite them selves, so naturally I speak of those who are expected to know their history because they have special purpose in the scheme of things. The rest are useful idiots. Puppets with strings need not know such things.
Now where's the revolutionary thinking in that? Fate can be denied, the roles set upon us by others can be shirked, and strings can be cut. Granted, Americans on average are far more complacent than we have any right or reason to be, but the US is not the world, and so I choose to remain somewhat optimistic.

So you believe in revolutionary progress by humans, for humans... that the world would be better off without? Okey Dokey!

As things stand right at this moment, sure, the Earth would probably be better off without us. That's largely due to the masters we choose to continue serving, however. With each revolution comes the potential for great progress and change.

Not if you are one of the ones who's blood is spilled during the process. Besides, the real meaning of the word "revolution" meant "to return to a point of origin" as in the rotation of the earth from starting point, all the way back to starting point. It has nothing to do with evolution, and the word "evolution" has more in common with the word "adapt" or "change" than it does with words like "growth", "smarter", "better", or "stronger". Such words meanings or what they were associated with, were twisted as propaganda to make us buy into things that are bad for us and generally enslave. Kind of like "progressive and liberal". If the word evolve did mean that with each generation or revolution, man has grown better than past man, then I would definitely say we are devolving, though not to a lower point than man has ever been, but rather back to a point of lowliness from which we had until recently, risen. We were postponing inevitable chaos for a while there, but not no more.

Preferably not, but if it happens it happens. Blood is spilled for global capitalism every day, after all.

Sure, the revolution is just the beginning. It's what follows that can inspire hope.

Lol reject modernity, return to monke? Kidding. I can understand holding either point of view for humanity, it's all in whether you choose to focus on the positive or negative in people. There are those individual exceptions who are are all positives or all negatives, but they're few and far between. Everybody has in them the same potential for great "good" and great "evil" by any perspective or definition of the words.

What was blood spilled by before "global capitalism" as you put it?

Yes, of course. Human history is a long and bloody one. That doesn't mean we should continuing accepting our current shackles if we're ready to move beyond them.
What I am trying to ask is what was responsible for spilling blood before "global capitalism?".
And now I also want to know, what are our current shackles? How would you define them?

Any number of factions, nations, individuals. Both the famous ones and those in the shadows. Too broad a question.

Wage slavery, the military industrial complex, reliance on a system of exploitation and pollution. To name just a few. Probably best we take it to PM if you want to continue this conversation, we've been off-topic for quite a while now.

A thread from November (and from what I can see not a single deleted post) covering a then important (in a somewhat surprising move it was later delayed, hence the follow up post) tax filing development for potentially quite a lot of the site's userbase (quite a few buy and sell things for profit or run little side hustles building and fixing things)?

Your doom and gloom and cynicism vis a vis quality of discussions is occasionally amusing but you seem rather off the mark here.
