I’m a long time video game aficionado, and it all started in the 80s with a C64 for me.
After some years spent gaming on PC and then falling out of love with gaming all together, I’ve picked up my first modded PS2 slim in my 30s and got busy catching up on console gaming. Soon simply tinkering with stuff on a very basic level became a favourite past time in itself.
To this day I still think that running games from my network share on my PS2 slim with the help of FreeMCBoot and OPL is the coolest thing EVER.
Turns out I’m a PlayStation fanboy, PS2 Slim (FreeMCBoot), PSP (CFW), PS Vita (CFW), PS TV (CFW), PS 3 slim (CFW), PS4 Pro (OFW) and a Nintendo Switch (OFW) are all set up and ready to play. Never fallen really in love with XBox, though I miss the PGR series.
Midnight Club 3 best game ever on PS2. Gran Turismo and PSP a match made in heaven, Muramasa Rebirth was worth getting a Vita. Pinball Arcade so much fun on the PS TV if someone only could get portrait mode to work. RE HD Remaster and RE 4 HD on PS3 rule. Nier Automata and finally the complete Western release of all main line Yakuza games on PS4 made me a very happy boy. Okami on Switch rocks.
