You run PPSSPP with Applet mode or Full Ram mode?i dont know why but everytime when i press ppsspp, and trying to load iso
it just crashed system and restart,
download https://gbatemp.net/threads/ppsspp-switch-standalone-beta.544071/page-29#post-9503166 and overwrite in switch/app but it still crashed
i dont know, i'm new hereYou run PPSSPP with Applet mode or Full Ram mode?
Open homebrew pressing R while loading album is called "applet mode" and you shouldn't use fo regular homebrew, because is a restricted mode.i dont know, i'm new here
install inside hb store or copy paste that link patch into switch app folder, both wont work
edit: so after awhile, i research, everything i just need to do is not holding R while click on Album, holding R and click any games instead album and browse to ppsspp then run,
is that recommended for all hb ?Open homebrew pressing R while loading album is called "applet mode" and you shouldn't use fo regular homebrew, because is a restricted mode.
Always run homebrew loader pressing R while loading a full title
is that recommended for all hb ?
btw sega genesis collection, after picked game inside, there's no sound, so it's ppsspp error right?
Neither of those observations are unsettling. They are within spec. The Switch is is pretty robust and tuned to just plug and play for the most part. Sure, your fan might be doing a little extra work as time goes on, but I wouldn’t open it up without a primary purpose. Check you battery condition with Hekate and continue to watch your temps with Status Monitor Overylay. At some point you’ll need to swap out a battery or repair a cracked screen and while you’re in there you might as well swap out the paste, change batteries and lube the steering knuckle while you’re in there. For now, just enjoy your Switch. It’s doing just fine.Hello there, another question :X
Wonder if i need to change my battery and paste or just leave it as it is because its good for now?
I was playing some grid autosport(top quality settings) and the battery was draining at 30% top per h and temps in the dock in the same game hitting like 55 soc 55 board 45 skin.
Never had switch before and buy it used so Idk how it was when switch was new. :X
Any reason to stay at 14.1.2, or is 15/15.01 good?
If you connected to Ninty they will have logs. They will flag anything suspicious and you will potentially get banned. Nothing you can do about that now.So, long story short: I had to restore from a sysnand backup that I created once I initially exploited my switch, I accidentally overwrote my sysnand with a emuMMC image that I was attempting to restore onto a new SD card (why hekate has a sysnand destructive option enabled by default I will never know, but nonetheless...)
My current state is pretty much what it was like before I screwed my sysnand up, except the firmware version of the sysnand. Prior to messing up HOS I updated my firmware to the newest firmware release available. Currently, I believe the firmware version HOS is sitting on is 12.0.1 or something of the like. I unfortunately can't remember if I had autoRCM on, but I'm pretty sure that I did. If I'm understanding it correctly, assuming that it's on there aren't any fuses that are burned since there's technically not any initial boots happening after the upgrade. So my questions are this for anyone that might know:
1) Upon my initial screw up of my sysnand, and testing my screw up by booting into my "Stock Sysnand" boot option from Hekate, what is the likelihood that I banned myself by booting my hacked firmware with hacked software on it? I didn't stay on it very long after booting it, but was this a insta-ban?
AutoRCM is a setting in Hekate. Basically it writes some bogus code in your bootloader to cause a failure and to go into RCM mode. It doesn’t touch your HOS/Sysnand.2) Assuming that I had autoRCM enabled when upgrading my stock firmware, what should my upgrade path be to get myself to the latest firmware again? And viceversa, if it wasn't enabled?
Probably the right move but might be too little too late. They will have seen your machine mysteriously downgrade from the last time it checked in.I haven't used HOS very much after I successfully restored the sysnand under the assumption that Nintendo might be monitoring my firmware version or something.
You bet. Go and sin no more. Best you can do. Good luck! Thanks in advance to any assistance and criticisms.

The game itself runs on firmware 14.X but if you're looking to install the update, you might need to update to 15.X. I personally always go for the second highest firmware as everything is not always supported on the latest firmware. PKHex has also been updated to work with the new Pokemon games. And updating Atmosphere/Hekate is as simple as putting the new files as well as the folders on your SD card. Lastly, please don't open a thread just because your question wasn't answered in 5 minutes. I have a hackable switch, but haven't updated fw in while. I am on 12 something I think. What should I update to for pokemon violet? Also does Violet work with Pkhex and how should I go about updating Atmosphere and hekate? Help appreciated [emoji846]

Thanks for the help! Do I need the update for violet? I plan to buy physical version of game. Also, where do I get needed hekate and Atmosphere for 14x? If you want to enjoy Mystery Gift and other online features, the update is mandatory. And the latest Hekate as well as Atmosphere will always be found in their respective GitHub pages. This is the one for Hekate and here is the page for Atmosphere. These pages should never change so they will always have the most updated versions. If you want to update your games offline, you install the updates in the form of .NSP files. Since these are considered warez, you must download them illegally from the Internet and no help will be provided on where to find them on this forum. Thanks for the help! it's safe, but as always UPGRADE YOUR ATMOSPHÈRE BEFORE, and also upgrade any Sysmodule you use. remember to remove any theme if you have it.Safe to update to 15.x

Thanks again for help. For Atmosphere, do I need latest patches? I heard something about sygpatches? What are they for?
