    Just saved myself £100 on buying a 1080/60 webcam by hooking my old camcorder to a spare capture card. I feel smort.

    There's also DroidCamX for Android, super useful if you don't need your phone at that time and have one of those mini tripods.

    Thankfully one of the spare mic arms that was lying around under my desk had the correct mounting point for my camcorder so I'm all set. It's always a pleasant surprise to not have to spend money lol

    Just beat the first Monster Hunter Stories game and started the second. Hooooooly crap the second is so much better. Glad I finished the first though.

    I had some good fun with the first game. Took me 24 hours to beat it and while I did find a few bosses frustrating, the general game was still pretty decent. The second game is such a step up though. I'd never be able to go back if I started here.

    I can't stress just how much switching over to a split keyboard improves my motivation to write. The difference is insane for me.

    I'm using the Matias Programmable Ergo Pro at the moment, and the experience is divine. The Ultimate Hacking Keyboard is a close second though, and that did recently get a V2 model that could be worth checking out. There's reviews of the Ergo Pro and the UHK V1 in the review centre if you're curious.

    crying inside that I just spent £220 on 1tb of storage, but the pain is still less than the constant game juggling I currently endure

    In fact, it can be applied to 100% of people, since anything has already been thought and said billions of times: nothing is original. Everything is quotation.

    Fruit squash? Yeah it is an import only thing.
    You get tang which is basically sugar, and there are some things like the small hyper concentrated robinsons things (see crystal light) but obviously having never even seen a real fruit.

    For me a lack of it is the worst part about going there -- I can deal with awful bread, awful cheese, sugar in basically everything, chocolate that tastes like vomit (seriously they use the same chemical), strange ideas when it comes to cuts of meat, nobody seemingly ever having heard of haddock outside of tintin, cereal that is either sugar or something I feed the birds... but the lack of squash just makes it hard.
