3080 selling out, ok, but the 3090? I didn't know so many people wanted to spend that much on a GPU with heavy diminishing returns. Sep 25, 2020 at 1:34 PM

A next gen Switch that's backwards compatible like its competitors, that would be sweet.
But then their efforts to resell me quick and easy ports/emulator bundles of last generation's games would be frustrated.
Sadly, backwards compatibility wouldn't be possible with GCN/Wii/WiiU, because the Switch has a different architecture. Also, I doubt it's powerful enough to emulate them.
120hz Console Gaming is nice and all but a 4K120hz TV would cost a fortune, I'm not ready to get a brand new TV...
Should be ok though, as only a minority of games will support it.
PS5 and XBSX will not be capable of hitting 120 FPS in 4K, even top-of-the-line PC GPUs can't manage more than 80ish FPS in 4K at the moment (depending on settings). If you're buying a TV for next-gen gaming, [email protected] is plenty good enough, or [email protected]+ Hz if you're buying a monitor instead. Neither option is all that expensive.
The Switch should get Spotify, that would be nice.
Guess I'll finally be able to try out Pikmin.
jammin' ninja ded
Got life stuff. :p
Nvidia DLSS 2.0 is crazy good
Honestly DLSS 2.0 is more impressive than raytracing for me
Am I dreaming or does it look like next gen consoles could do 4k 60fps? My PC's GPU doesn't even go that far, those must be beasts. :o
Making games is by no means an easy task, here I thought it would be easy but there's constant road blocks.
The biggest issue for me at least is coming up with new ideas, originality in my experience is a rare occurrence. I could just take inspiration from other games, but that would just make me feel incompetent, and I'm getting a lot of that feeling making my first game.
Eh, maybe things will change with time, but as for now, it's a bit difficult. :)
Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw (the babbling Brit with the game review videos) has a weekly dev vlog where he talks about video game design and development. This past year he tried (and more or less succeeded) to make 12 original games in 12 months, and his vlog followed the process. I recommend giving it a watch.
Thank you. :)
New Playstation 2 exploit just got released, nice.
Pfft, the main attraction was clearly the tooth brushing game. What a game!
Just added an AK-47 to my kid friendly game lol
Cartoon violence to some degree is fine, old-timey cartoons had guns in them all the time, today's cartoons are way too tame.
Yeah you got that right, Tom and Jerry had a thing for shotguns. :P
The real question is, wtf happened to that Unreal Engine 4 demo? Is it not its own game?!
what did you expect it's a tech demo
I expected it to be a breathtaking game, kinda like Uncharted.
Ah shit, here we go again.
The front panel USB 3.0 connector connectors companies use is jack shit. I managed to bend a pin and now it doesn't work. :/
Yeah mine is shit too. Works intermittently yet the USB 2 ones are flawless (except the slow speed of course)
My shiny new (old) tower is a machine a customer gave me after the hard drive went eh. Had the same problem years ago -- plastic bit in the middle had snapped off and pins were shorting such that it would not even boot. Still had the bit of tape I put over it after I sorted it.
Bonus is they are usually all nice and custom so you also have that to handle too.
There's just something about the connector's design that it doesn't plug in very well, the slightest angle when plugging it in can just bend a pin it's crazy.
Making a game in Unity, not sure if I'm creative enough but it is fun at least. Having trouble getting the drive to keep working though.
Better, a video! :D https://youtu.be/gnEowBru7QU
Thank you. :-)
That looks really.......Fun and Challenge.Very good Work,my Friend.
And...at the End, the Cube looks completely done and finished. :-))
Very good Work.I hope we can see (more) from your "Programming Skills" on your Channel...if you like,of course. :-)
Me,I like it.Thank you for sharing. :-)
Thank you very much, I will. :)
I only realized now but, your pfp is the Jammin' Ninja!
Damn straight! :D
The Steel Samurai is better >:)))))
I just can't play Animal Crossing anymore, it got boring before I got my town done. Maybe I will play it again later.
The new star wars game seems to try to be like an uncharted game, but it doesn't do it well. It's very movie-cliche like as well. :/
Unreal Engine 5 is fucking mind blowing.
it really is
Is it just me, or does Borderlands 3 give you a lot of legendary loot? I'm not complainin'!
I think I've gotten more legendary stuff so far in Borderlands 3 than I did in the entirety of my playthroughs of 1, 2, and Pre-Sequel put together, and I don't even think I'm halfway through B3. Anecdotal, I know, but it definitely does seem like the drop rates were adjusted in the player's favor.
Totally. I got more since I wrote this.
It's not uncommon for me to get 4 legendaries per area, granted I play with the boyfriend and a mate of mine.
