    Thanks for the info! Regarding what the previous poster said, I think he implied that you can't simply get into RXTools from boot up on older firmware, not that it wasn't usable at all. On 4.2.0 can I boot into it directly from startup or do I have to launch it in a similar way to the gateway...

    So from what I understand, RXTools is a custom firmware that does not require a flashcart. I have also read that you can boot directly into RXTools (unlike gateway).     I've been researching DSTwo but can't find an answer. Most sites charge extra for a micro sd card but isn't it necessary in order to put files onto it? So why would they charge extra?
