Welp, Red Dead Online and RDR2 have now been officially abandoned; not like it was any real surprise, since RockStar couldn't milk it like with GTAO. Still sucks for RDR fans, and that they didn't bother increasing the supposedly-fantastic singleplayer content.
Just saw a movie ad in the train station; why is Marvel making female-Thor canon? Thor's a guy, always been a guy, and this Thor is interesting; female-Thor is worthless Rule 63 nonsense.
So, DOOM Eternal has cosmetic DLCs, for the first seven "seasons"; that does resolve the whole 'limited availability' criticism I had about them, but it seems like the DLC is way behind, considering we're up to, what, season 18 or something?
I don't get the appeal of Prof. Sada, in Pokémon Scarlet; she just looks too wild and feral to be attractive. Just...ew. Juniper was better, even though I don't care for her - which just shows how much I care for goddamn Sada.
Well, apparently pokemongts.com is gone now; such a shame, since it used to have a great list of AR codes for DS Pokémon games.
At least archive.org has it backed up.
I still believe Super Mario 64 DS remains the pinnacle of 3D Mario, due to its almost-complete non-linearity and its total lack of frustrating/bullshit collectibles. Sunshine's crap, Galaxy doesn't come close, and Odyssey's decent but not as great.
So there's a BlazeBlack 2 Redux ROM hack now...hmm, nah, original's better, since it doesn't have the buggy Fairy type (not fully implemented) nor does it unnecessarily and unjustifiably nerf Steel. Nor does it replace moves with newer ones.
TIL that the Unreal Engine was named after a 1998 game, developed by Epic MegaGames and Digital Extremes and published by GT Interactive; I always thought it was just a "cool" word chosen to sound "cool".
