    It's sad that there has only been one brand-new Legend of Zelda game since 2013's A Link Between Worlds - that being the mediocre BotW. I'd love to play another game in this franchise, but the dearth is truly unfortunate.

    I do hate how macOS got rid of FTP recently; it means I can no longer connect to my 3DS or Switch through FTPD homebrew apps.

    I do have a Windows laptop that I do use for gaming stuff, but sometimes all I've got handy is my Mac.
    Can't even use FTP software like Cyberduck or FileZilla or Commander One.

    Persona 3 was unique amongst the modern Persona games, since the PC wasn't the first one to awaken his Persona; he's among the last, with most of the team having already known about Shadows and stuff for some time. Ever since, the MP has been among the first to awaken.

    In P3, Mitsuru, Akihiko, and Yukari were already knowledgeable about Shadows, with the first two having been fighting them for a while; Shinjiro also had a Persona, but quit for a while due to...personal issues. Then there's Aigis, who was constructed years ago to battle Shadows.

    Meanwhile, in P4, the PC is the first to awaken his Persona; in P5, Joker is the third, after Morgana and Goro. This means they don't really have more experienced teammates to help and teach them; they're left to figure things out on their own, unlike P3's protag (Morgana kinda counts for Joker, but...eh).

    Also, Shadows had been around for years in P3, meaning there was history behind this version of the Metaverse; in both P4 and P5, it seems to be a relatively-recent and unknown phenomenon.

    Now that I think about it, SSB started out with its Fighters being dolls or figurines, but transitioned to the Fighters being the actual characters themselves in 4 and Ultimate.

    So why does Kirby lose his infinite flight? Sure, game balance, but in-universe? Does he consciously limit himself?
    Originally it could be waved away by "it's not the real Kirby", but not anymore.

    Better question: how do they get to the fighting area? Just magically teleport there? Master hand just picks them up and chucks them over? There could be like a lobby area where fighters wait for their turn of something.

    Well, I've had a headache all day, and it has only worsened over that time. Hopefully I'm not getting sick...that'd suck, so close to New Year's.
    Oh, and my Mum has also had a sore throat all day too, and started getting a headache in the evening, so it's not just me.

    I prefer DOOM (2016) over Eternal, honestly, because the latter has most of its alt costumes locked behind seasonal 'Challenges', some of which involve the crappy multiplayer, and there isn't any way to get costumes from previous seasons.

    I just absolutely loathe that seasonal system, and just how heavily it's pushed.
    Additionally, I liked 2016's GUI design more than Eternal's, since the older one is just cleaner, simpler, and much more visually appealing. Furthermore, 2016's runes are just better than Eternal's.

    Oh, and no need to create a pointless Bethesda account with 2016, since that's not required! For whatever reason, it is in Eternal, even when you don't give a crap about MP; can't even get to the title screen without logging in. Why not just relegate that login to the MP instead, huh?

    Why does the word "thongs" mean different things in Australia and US? It's unisex footwear here (what you'd call "flip-flops"), but over there it's a female undergarment; why?

    I would guess the Aus use of it is a reference to the undergarment with how the strap is designed. It do look kinda thong-like for your toes.

    Does Pokémon BPSP have the EXP Share toggle? Does it have a Battle Frontier, a la Platinum, or just a Tower? Does it bring back every move, and/or every Pokémon?

    According to Bulbapedia...the EXP Share toggle DOESN'T EXIST and TMs are single-use.

    If reducing "PC" to something specific, I would have associated it with the IBM PC (or IBM PC-XT or PC-AT). Even back then MS-DOS was not the only operating system for those machines.
    Vendor or brand isn't important, but intended use is.

    That's what I use mine for. I also use it for software that is only on Windows and macOS but doesn't work very well on Linux via Wine. I refuse to use Windows and some of my software for school is either Windows or MacOS.

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

    I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
