Hopefully they can incorperate some 3D into this game. I Enjoyed 1 and 2 but GTA: Advance was felt like crap. So even if it was a crappy 3D engine I'm always into the story and gameplay no matter what game.

Well at the Press conference they did say it will be using an all new game engine, so I really hope it is 3d.

Wishful thinking. That would be awesome, but not too many folks seem willing to do much with the DS's WiFi capabilities. Besides, it'd take our community all of a few hours before someone created cheat codes for it and killed the experience entirely. Of course, it could still be fun in local multiplayer.

We'll see, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I'll be more than happy with a decent single-player game.

from the Rockstar RSS feed:
Rockstar Games is proud to announce Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the Nintendo DS™. "This is a game that will deliver a rich, fast-paced and intense 'Grand Theft Auto' experience that will be truly unique to Nintendo's handheld platform," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "Rockstar Leeds, along with the team at Rockstar North, has built upon a decade of progressive design on Grand Theft Auto, and has created something fundamentally fresh and immersive."

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is an entirely original entry into the critically acclaimed Grand Theft Auto series, and brings a new level of interactivity to its sprawling open environments. With the use of the DS touch screen, players will navigate their way through the streets as they uncover the truth behind an epic tale of crime and corruption within the Triad crime syndicate, delivering the unprecedented amount of depth that has become a true trademark of the franchise.

Developed by Rockstar Leeds in conjunction with series creators Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be available on the Nintendo DS™ in North America and Europe this winter.

Don't be too surprised if the WiFi logo disappears as the release gets closer. It can (and has) happened before.

Read this already off one of my other sources, and it tells me everything, yet tells me nothing.

I guess I missed this, I'm gonna try to find some screen shots or a video, or something
Only the name has been announced so far. No pics or vids

I can tell it is going to suck by how much effort they put into the name.

Chinatown wars....

Yeah a 3 year old could have done better.

Tonight it's the Take Two conference, hopefully they bring us some news and maybe screens of the game.
And especially, finally announce GTA IV for the PC!

Hopefully the game won't be trash and will take good use of multiplayer.
I really enjoyed the PSP version's multiplayer.
Basically, it was just you shootin' down your enemy.

I honestly don't know why many other NDS games don't have Wi-Fi implemented.
I mean, you take all the time to create the game and don't bother to add Wi-Fi? Kind of stupid if you ask me.

GTA 5? You mean GTA 4.
I really hope it's going to be announced this night, else I think we can forget about it...
Please Rockstar, I'll buy it, no downloads for me.

well if it coming out in november there better be some screens or even a trailer i mean they been quite about this so who know how long its been in development. But like Satangel said Rockstars conference is today so i wouldnt be suprised if the show us a lil somthing about it.

I thought it was a Joke till I saw the website really exists
Damn just broke my DS, O well if this is 3D I will buy a new ds in Winter

Maybe I'll buy it, I'm quite annoyed by my current DS Lite, the hinges are making weird noises, and the shoulderbuttons don't work taht good...
