I know the DSi hasn't been opened fully for CFW, etc. but to say that "They combated the piracy on DSi" is nothing short of a joke.QUOTE said:"I actually asked Nintendo to explain the technology and they said it's very difficult to do so because it's so sophisticated," he continued. Don't forget DSi Ware. They don't make too much on it, but there is no published way to pirate it.Thoob said:I know the DSi hasn't been opened fully for CFW, etc. but to say that "They combated the piracy on DSi" is nothing short of a joke.QUOTE said:"I actually asked Nintendo to explain the technology and they said it's very difficult to do so because it's so sophisticated," he continued. But they did. They introduced countermeasures that still haven't been cracked. If that's not combating piracy, I don't know what is.BortzANATOR said:I love how the R4 is the only thing they know.

All tissues are Kleenex, all copiers are Xerox (you don't make a copy, you "zeerox" it), and all flashcards are R4.
But fact is, various "R4" cards (the original and the over 9000 copies) sold more than all other flashcards combined.

Ah yes, however: there wasn't much of a reward from hacking DSi mode. Only some extra processor Mhz and more RAM.Veho said:But they did. *i wish i could directly point this out to nintendo*

People don't need a reason, they do it because they can and because of the challange. Often they also want the Rep too.Berthenk said:Ah yes, however: there wasn't much of a reward from hacking DSi mode. Only some extra processor Mhz and more RAM.
And besides that, all DSi enhanced game are mostly shovelware. Why crack DSi mode to play more shovelware?
