Acekard 2i OR Ez-flash Vi

Pros for acekard: First DSi flashcard, it is used the most, good menu design, frequent updates
Pros for EZ-flash: More stable (on the DSi) than the acekard 2i

Cons for acekard: It isn't stable on the DSi
Cons for EZ-flash: People have reported it is slower, the menu design isn't as good, and updates don't come out as frequently as Acekard firmware updates.

So which one?
 
You have a choice betwwen the Acekard 2i, EZ Flash Vi, TTDSi or was it DSTTi, and a R4i (don't recommend this at all). A lot of people have there Acekard crashing so I guess your choice would be the EZ Flash Vi or DSTTi. Which one well that depends do you want real time save and other functions?
 
Depends on what are the other functions. Also the most important thing is the Support. For example, when GTA came out Acekard (i think) was the first to update their firmware so a clean GTA rom works.
So this is the main thing i'm aiming for, good support and fixing stuff fast

I believe that the DSTT has less support (last few firmware updates have been useless since only like one game was updated that not many people play) unless you use the YSMenu (wait I'm not sure does YSMenu use its own loader?)

The EZ Flash has better support but not near the Acekards with AKAIO. Other funcions would be like real time save and real time guide but I'm not sure on which ones the EZ Flash have.

Yes AKAIO was the first to make GTA work with a firmware update.

Well i would choose Acekard, but as i said it bricks on DSi's. Are they at least working on a fix or something?


EDIT: I found on official Acekard forums that it only doesn't work if you use other Sys Lang than English. Using English is okay with me so if i use English there wont be any problems?
 
Okay, so the problem that is fixed with the Acekard is that it freezes if not the correct system language.
BUT some people say it works for a few days and then just bricks. What about that?

Also something wrong with the DSi mode. But if i buy the Acekard and they find a fix for the DSi mode thing i wont need to buy a new card just a new firmware right?

So recently i was thinking of buying the AceKard 2i, but i've been seeing these posts about people bricking their AceKards, should i still buy it? Or should i get the EZ Flash Vi?

BTW, i think i'm leaning more to an AceKard 2i

I would recommend the AK2i. As it was said, the firmware is updated more often than the other cards, meaning that they will most likely be able to fix the bricking problem sooner. I've had one for about a week now, and even though I don't use it all the time on my DSi, I have not had it brick me at all.
 
ezflash vi seems to have a better build - doesn't look like it'll crap out on you any time soon as opposed to the acekard.

con: Acekard has AKAIO, which is better than ezlfash's firmware.

I prefer getting a product that I can count on working, so I went with the ezlflash
 
yeah i was also wondering what card to get for the dsi and based on the people are saying im going with the ezflash vi i would get the dstti but i already got the dstt for the other ds's and i want something new
now just got to wait till monday to order it
(typing this on dsi)
