It's possible ONLY, and ONLY with slot 2 solution......So you'll have to use some of the GBA expansions in combination with slot 1 carts....

I have to go now, but I'll explain a bit more later, if someone doesn't do it in the meantime..

A Nintendo DS can not and will never emulate GBA games. If you have a SLOT-2 however you can just boot them like you would with NDS games. If you have a SLOT-1 card you will need a SLOT-2 card or an EZ Flash 3-in-1 to boot GBA games.

Like everyone said, best thing is to have a Slot-1 + Slot-2 device.
I suggest you to use the EZ-Flash V 3-1 for slot-2 if you already have a Slot-1 device.
