Hacking original cart saves to g6 lite?

can you dump the saves off your original carts and use them on the g6 lite, if so how?

Yes you can. Have the rom on your G6 and the original game in the DS slot. Then start up your DS and press select when the correct rom is highlighted. Choose "DS Card ---> Default" and start up your rom

so do you need flashme installed to do this, or can you swap carts from passcard 3 -> original cart

You can swap carts after booting with your passcard 3.

so G6 can dump game saves with out the need of Rein?
if its true then this flashcart is a must,but only after its available in black.

Technically yes, you can dump your original cart saves with the G6 Lite as Opium described - but REIN would be easier if you had a lot of saves to dump.

Sure I am being stupid here but.........

I boot up using passcard 3 swap for my original Animal Crossing cart. Then highlighting the Animal crossing install on the G6 I choose select and choose the option to copy 'DS Cart-->Default'. I then reboot the NDS and attempt to load Animal Crossing. After the Nintendo logo the screen then goes black. If I reinstall Animal Crossing onto the G6 and don't touch the save function it works fine.

Original Cart is US as is the backup I put on the G6.

Any 'your an idiot you missed this simple step' posts greatly appreciated.
