When should we be expecting gba games to come to nso? I would love to play games like wario land 4 and kirby nightmare in dreamland. Also when are games like goldeneye and sonic 3 coming to NSO.

Not for a while, we don't even have GB(C) yet, and they just added Mega Drive and N64.
Maybe never, since the Switch realistically probably doesn't have more than a couple of years left in its life cycle, and I wouldn't expect to see GB(C) for another 6 months-1 year maybe, and then GBA the year after, if the Switch is still even being supported at that point.

I just use retro-arch for Gameboy stuff, but it would be nice if they had a legit NSO emulators for GB,GBC,GBA.. I can only dream! lol

My only worry is when the switch lifespan finally ends, will NSO be dead forever? has anyone made a way to use it without online/subscription?

you can play the NSO software on a modded switch, no problems.

Officially the service will be terminated at some point. Judging for the size of installed base of the switch, and by the fact that you keep paying for NSO regularly, I believe the service will last for decades (keep in mind that the Super Nintendo was discontinued here and in Japan just in 2003).

About Gameboy coming to NSO, I believe the date will be the release date of Pokemon Stadium games, and this will happen next year.
