Hey man! I did what you said, but it still is entering my Sysnand partition. I haven't any piracy on my Sysnand and it is still working well :)
I know that my hekate_ipl.ini is working because I deleted it in a try and the message that the file wasn't found was shown.

I know it is the Sysnand because it has some games updating as I left when I am using the Sysnand and deactivating and activating the WIFI.

I wonder if I made a lousy backup recovery or if the fusee.bin has another error. Or do you recommend making a new emunand from my sysnand as it is now? I am unsure if there is a way to recover my saves from the backup files or a folder from my first SD thought.

Please boot into Atomsphere CFW and then send a screenshot of you Settings -> System Information

I would do it before switching to Atmopshere.

There are really no limitations to emuMMC. Its meant to act exactly like sysMMC except that it exists on your SD card. And updating the firmware in one doesn't affect the other.

Yes, you are missing the patches. You can download those from this thread.

emuMMC is a copy of sysMMC that exists on the SD card. If you aren't familiar with it, then you haven't set it up yet. To stop the update window, simply boot into Maintenance Mode which you can do by holding volume + and - when turning the console on. However make sure to delete the Wi-Fi settings before booting into Maintenance Mode otherwise, the system update will be downloaded again. The error code is most likely due to missing the patches which you can get from this thread.
thanks i didnt understand the recovery mode I delete the wifi connection

I was able to get into recovery mode but it says at the top "update system"
what needs to be done here?

patches have been updated but there is still a window that quickly comes up "checking to see if software can be played" and then bang same error - so i think i need to find a way to stop the switch trying to attempt an upgrade

looks like it is present in the cache and then it trys to update before failing out and not letting me launch games

Sure, thanks. I would think I cloned the current Sysnand, but I changed something on Sysnand, and I can see the exact change on Emunand after booting it.

So i normally use tinfol, but today tried DBI to put on a game.DBI installed nicely, but at the end said no sig patches and the games doessent play.
This was a shop dump, so im wondering is the problem that I need to get the file patched, or is it the sigpatches thats bad and can sigpatches run any game nowhater where they come from?

please boot into Hekate and select emuMMC and take a screenshot of the resulting screen.

Install these:

Sigpatches (GBATemp) — alternative Sigpatches for when others don’t seem to work.

There are troubleshooting tips in the thread as well.

I am considering of upgrading to 15 HOS but I do not know what I need to do to transfer the 15 from the OFW to the CFW/emuMMC.

1. Do I install the Darthsternie Firmware 15 from Tinfoil's app? Or do i just download it in the OFW and then use Daybreak? Is there a guide we can trust and that it is not dated?
2. Do I update hekate and Atmosphere in the sd card? What else? (I suppose the new sigpatches too)
2a. I understand that I need to update the hekate bin in the portable payload injector.
3. Not sure how to backup the save files tbh.

I didn't check that menu before, and emuMMC is disabled...

Should I choose Migrate emuMMC and Backup, right? I thought I had restored the backup when I selected Restore eMMC in Tools menu.

If you haven’t done already you will need to create an emummc. It doesn’t look like it exists. If you haven’t installed a bunch of games on a previous emummc, this is your best option. If you are wanting to keep games and game saves from a previous emummc then we have more work to do to try and save them but it will be a little harder.

This is the steps I am currently doing:
1. Update Atmosphere and Hekate with the latest release
2. Upgrade 15 on HOS
3. Use TegraExplorer to dumb HOS firmware with "FirmwareDump.te" script (choose "Dump sysmmc" option). Waiting until done and choose "Reboot to atmosphere/reboot_payload.bin"
4. In Hekate, lunch your emuMMC then boot into Homebrew Channel (Hold R while Launching a Game)
5. Run Daybreak from HBC, tap Install and navigate to "tegraexplorer/Firmware/15.0" -> tap Continue -> Preserve settings -> Install (FAT32 + exFAT) -> Continue. Then Wait until done and Reboot

Which firmware update should I download? on the internet there is a site that offers 15.0, 14.1.2 and also 14.12 rebootless update 1,2 and 3.

and when i update do i need to first download and update from my 9.2.0 to 10.0 and then to 11.0 and so on and finally to 14.12 or do i just download 14.12 file?

Thank you very much!!! I see that Atmosphere just got out of the pre-release. Gonna try your approach during this weekend (maybe also migrate from Tinfoil to Tinwoo) ;)
How do we save the saves?

I'd like to keep my game saves from my other SD tbh. Do you know a good tutorial to do the second option that you could share it please?

I selected the Fis RAW option and it said something was found and now it looks in this way.

Hm.
So I cannot seem to instal tinfoil. Tried the installer and goldleaf, both failed on installing it on emummc. I then upgraded to 14.1.2 hoping that was the problem, but still cant install. Any ideas?

Solution: Both tinfoil and games fixed with new beta sigpatches.

Thanks I currently have this setup here https://www.cfwaifu.com/90dns/

Does your link allow me to play online games without getting banned on the stock firmware?
Correct. You can continue to use 90DNS as well. They don’t clash. DNS:mitm does a similar thing but the control for the service is inside your switch rather than a 3rd party.

exosphere blocks your Prodinfo (sets your serial number to all 0s) so even if you were to get to Nintendo you would not be able to communicate due to a bogus ID.

all other network operations outside of Ninty servers will continue to work as normal.

You should be good to go now that you have an emummc. Reboot and see if it goes into Emunand now.

thanks So im guessing if I booted into my stock firmware - would the DNS settings for the current wifi I am connected to in the custom firmware still be present?

basically I got the switch modded - I got a number of games that i want to play offline and over the months I will probably buy a few games cheap and play them online on the stock firmware. Mario Maker 2 is the best game ive enjoyed so far

If you boot stock w/o CFW (Atmosphere) then none of the mods we’re talking about would come in to play and you will connect directly to Ninty as normal. Keep your Sysnand 100% clean and you will be fine.

gotcha so every saved wifi setting is actually on each firmware?

didnt know that but its good to know and helps my cause.
