Are you sure you're giving it a save file, not a save state?

It shouldn't be making a new one unless you're giving it something that isn't a save file... Maybe reformatting the SD would do something, though that would be pretty weird.

Any flashcard will work, as long as you use TWiLight Menu++ on your DSi/3DS to launch it with SCFG access turned on in settings.

hey guys, i just recently got a rom (im sorry but i cannot afford paying over 200 dollars for a singular game ) for pokemon heartgold, and i don't know if it was before or after i updated twl menu, and the latest ap patched notes say that they just patched heartgold, so i am confused. my game works perfectly, along with other games found in the ap patch notes.
so my question is, will i have any AP issues? i thought all games where patched with twl menu already (Except for the 5 that you get a warning message for when trying to boot)

ok wait. i did some research and im soo confused, i thought 99% of the games where ap patched by twl menu but apparently not, how come i have never experienced any ap measures? i am super confused and a bit worried rn
i do wanna clarify that i am against piracy, but i can barely find any ds games and i cant afford them anyway so yeah
ok after more research i found out that like 673 games have been ap patched but what happens if you have an unpatched game? i have never gotten the warning message from twl menu except for the imagine resort owner game (don't ask me why i am playing this game) so i am just really wondering if i will ever get any ap issues, i am really worried about it like i don't wanna lose my acww or pokemon save data

If you don't get a message about AP, then the game is automatically AP-patched, so you won't get any AP issues.

I have a USA DS(i) with what i think is the latest twilgihtmenu++DS(i). I am about to test with a blank SD card and start from scratch to do this testing. But currently on my setup, everything has worked that i tried until I wanted to use the Improved StellaDS from wavemotion. It hangs on 2 white screens. The per game settings by default were all set to default. For the DSi improved apps, do we need to manually change the per-game settings? I tried just about every combo i could... Maybe there is a setting in twl++ settings that i am missing... any ideas? Discord will be my next stop i guess.. Its funny because I dont even want to play Atari atm. I just wanted to see that it worked. The original StellDS included in twl++ WORKS and that makes me happy but the Improved version I found here doesnt work. I have rebooted my DS over 20 times in the past hours trying different settings to boot the homebrew...

Yes I played Space Invaders and it works great. I was just wondering why it wouldnt work the other way. I tried multiple times to redownload even twl++ and this improved StellaDS and same results, stuck on 2 white screens. I was wanting to test another homebrew and it did the same thing so I just hope i dont start encountering it wtih more homebrew...But yes the Atari rom works great with TWLMenu++ as is. I was just intrigued by the Improved one and wanted to test it....

Why would one port mGBA when the better tool is GBARunner2? Most problems that GBARunner2 has would happen by a mgba port to the DS, except possibly worse.

The best browser for the DS is the official Nintendo DS Browser. It's not a very good browser though, there's not really anything you can do about that. Even in 2006 the DS wasn't powerful enough to run the internet well, in 2022 it's not even close.
