@rexus_pl

I really hope it's OK to share my compiled build of the latest commits of WiiSXRX_2022 main branch with everyone, and xjsxjs197 won't get mad to me because i share a build of something that still is not ready for public release, but anyways... :P
I will share my compiled build.

With latest commits until git b44817d1
https://github.com/xjsxjs197/WiiSXRX_2022/commit/b44817d1bf01c56af47bb23a550f1abb201a68da

Greetings to all :)
Thanks for compiling, Saul!

Just tested NBA Jam Tournament Edition and CDDA works (with the high pitch), but sometimes the commentary and other SFX is missing or delayed (fixed when using BIOS instead of HLE). xjsxjs197 is really making some awesome progress though!

Too much crashing in the few games I tested. However, significant progress has obviously and gloriously been made and I'm super looking forward to a stable release. Kudos xjsxjs197! Never thought I'd see the progress PSX emulation has been making on Wii.

Some games I tested:

Primal Rage - this would load in the prior release, but the background stage graphics were all scrambled. Now it crashes as it loads the main menu so you don't get that far. BUT, the intro story FMV now has audio narration where it didn't before.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy - crashed

Thrill Kill - Worked and has background music now where it didn't before.

@Qaztab

Have you tested the games using the official PSX BIOS files (SCPH1001.bin) and not the HLE BIOS?

AAAAH! DAGNABBIT!!!!

I *ass*umed it was using my existing settings, but it seemed to have reset them without me catching it. It defaulted to HLE. Just set it up to use the bios and have to revise my report:

Primal Rage - WORKS!! The scrambled background I had in the prior version is no more and there's all the background music! This is a big win for me personally as the Gamecube version on the Midway Arcade Collection looks muddy(some kind of low res filter they're using there) and they also remapped the special moves.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy - WORKS! ! Background music!!

Thrill Kill - of course WORKS! Background music all there. Just went into the options to verify that you can play all the music tracks there and you can!

WWF Wrestlemania The Arcade Game - Background music and commentary!!

I will also note that some sounds are kind of high pitched and a bit off. Not sure if that's a setting thing with the frame skipping or a thing that needs to be tweaked.

I feel kind of stupid for misreporting in a post above. Thank you for helping/correcting me SaulFabre. I'm even more excited for the official release now. :D

@SaulFabre, the build you posted earlier wont allow me to choose the sd as the bios. Once i do then try to move down to save to sd i get a stack dump exception dsi!

Anyone else had this or any known tricks to try fix?
i don't have any trouble doing that setting.
Have you tried deleting your old settingsRX2022.cfg file into root:/wiisxrx/?

Playing glorious 2D Rayman on the Wii was all I ever need from this emulator. :D

CDDA music seems to be high-pitched, easily noticeable on Mortal Kombat Trilogy.

Motherfoken Doom & Final Doom work now . Gokujou Parodius Da! Deluxe Pack, Judge Dredd, Mega Man Legends 2 (NTSC-U & PAL), Mortal Kombat 3, NBA Hangtime, are now FINALLY running correctly too. Um Jammer Lammy also works, but with some hellish scratchy noises on gameplay.

Oddworld - Abe's Oddysee, Silent Hill, Star Wars - Dark Forces, are still glitchy.

Alone in the Dark - One-Eyed Jack's Revenge, Batman Beyond - Return of the Joker, Buster Bros. Collection, College Slam, Disney's Atlantis - The Lost Empire (gets a bit further than before before hanging), DoDonpachi (1.1), Ghost in the Shell, NBA Jam T.E. (NTSC-J), Nightmare Creatures, The Need for Speed, Tomb Raider (1.0), X2 - No Relief, are still not fully working.

Some emulator bugs:
The emulator may lose or break sound after loading a handful of games in one session.

Other than that, seems fine.

Yeah I tried fresh but still no dice. What is the setting in the config file to set bios to sd....I assume its bios device = 1 or 2 or 3? I'll try to load it with that setting later.

In the meantime... made another fwdr for it if anyone wants. Sig patch enabled (only works when installed to nand) gamepad enabled and points to - sd\apps\wiisxrx\boot.dol

I tried a few problematic games...

Doom (USA) now works!

Destruction Derby 1 (USA) also works! :D

I will test further later.

But by now, test this new build.

*EDIT*

CDDA music seems to be high-pitched, easily noticeable on Mortal Kombat Trilogy.
As @niuus stated, CDDA audio is high pitched. I tested Pepsiman (Japan) when the CDDA audio (music on levels) works i heard that it's not in the normal pitch, it's high-pitched.

Thanks @SaulFabre, that one works a treat!!

Got spyro and rayman running but spiderman is still un unholy mess lol! Will be playing about more with OC later.

Awesome work by all involved

Edit... Rayman and spiderwork better on interpreter.... Spiderman especially!! Audio a bit choppy and some texture errors but definitely playable now! Could never get these two to work before today!

rayman worked fine for me in dynarec

It does work fine in dynarec however i found it tad Laggy when jumping and on the flowers that bend but smoother in interp. I am using vWii on wii u if it matters.
then you can make an inject and overclock it to perfection xD i also used vwii just injected xD.

Yeah same. Using my fwdr i posted earlier with OC enabled. Didn't notice any change when using oc in dynarec to vanilla boot i played.
