Yes, plus you wouldn't be able to reload your games from those discs if your hard drive dies.

This program only works with Wii U games.

I made an homebrew that combines wudump & wud2app by FIX94. So all the credits goes to him.

It dumps just the .app/-h3/.tmd/.cert/.tik files from the disc. It is much faster than full disc dump, because it only reads the necessary parts of the disc. (And reduce the chance to encounter bad sectors in case of scratched discs)

You can choose between SD/USB. (the same as in wudump that it is based on)
It dumps the files to /install/<DISC NAME>/ folder.
If you dump it to the SD it can be installed as is with wupinstaller y mode.

It's not supposed to. These are installable files, but their extracted content works fine. Read up on the different WiiU games formats so you know what you're dealing with, then extract the files using cdecrypt.

I am pretty sure you have checked this 3 important Points:

- SD Card formatted with FAT32
- USB HDD formatted with FAT32 (and not use the Wii U formatted HDD)
- enough Space on it (also please check of "hidden" Folders like Temp or something similar in Windows).

The wii u has it's own file format. But yes. The card is correctly formatted with fat32.

I mean to copy the Disc to USB,you need a FAT32 HDD too.

Maybe that is the Reason of the Issue ?

Can someone help me? No matter what disc I try to dump the app always freezes at "writing 00000009.app". When it reaches that stage, I can hear the disc drive stop whirring. There is no progress information (like 0x1000/0xA000 (10%)) at all, it looks like it just stops. I'm gonna try wudump.

Actually nvm, it just turns out all of my discs are extremely dirty for some reason.

Hello, is there a homebrew like this but for dumping digital games? "Dumpling" exists but it dumps decrypted games for CEMU and I want the encrypted ones to be able to install them if I place them on a SD card with loadiine GX2, just how this one does it.
