Was that the answer to my question? As I did grab the signpatches and can launch my games (and tinfoil) just fine, just unable to launch the homebrew menu with full memory access :/

I can bet a GBATemp Tshirt, for sure when new sigpatches will be needed you will be able to download from the OP of this thread.

And the good news are, very soon you will be able to generate the sigpatches on a Windows o Switch native apps so you will not need to download any sigpatches, you will be able to generate yourself, thanks a MrDude and some other people working hard for us.

Seems more like you would be forced to create sigpatches yourself and wouldn't be able to download them as some way of working around Nintendo's DMCA claims instead of pushing back against them. I've seen other forms of this type of ass kissing here on GBAtemp and frankly it's disgusting, I don't have respect for those who kiss up to Nintendo or their ideologies.

Hello there, sorry I get confused (mainly because English is not my native language) what forms of «ass kissing» are you referring?
The age old practice of asking end users to build/compile software themselves as opposed to distributing the finished product publically as a result of some kind of action like what happened to iTotalJustice.

oh i'm sorry if your code illiterate as most open source software needs to be compiled I compile most of my programs on github for instance the code can be weeks ahead of a stable release just grab dev kit pro and ask questions on how to use it,but as` Impeeza said we'll soon be able to make the sig patches via homebrew (that and apparently they forgot the hekate patches exist

OK, I hear you buddy, that's why I have to write down the procedures to compile some software, because some "full working" software can only be achieved if you have a "legal" copy of the original product, so I needed to create a step by step procedure to my self, some times I was able to share these steps with the GBATemp community. But it's true that "false"sense of "legality" what N force us is a pain.

I'm not against the idea of people who want to compile code, but I am against the idea of forcing people to do so as some kind of way of circumventing the DMCA. Especially considering that these claims are fraudulent and if challenged en masse (like what happened with Youtube-dl they would fizzle out. Trying to "lay low" just gives more power to DMCA trolls and also makes user experience significantly poorer as you're essentially making them become developers when all they wanted to do was play games.

Also what do you mean by doing it via homebrew, like as in on the Switch console itself, that is in all honestly a neat idea.

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
