I dont know each Card, there are to much out there. But these for example have also timebomb. I had one from R4i-gold.eu wich expired all 2 years.

We have also a Download section for Flashcards: https://gbatemp.net/download/categories/flashcart-files.85/

you can get a DSONE clone on ebay. They are pretty much the same as a DSTWO but with no extra cpu. The emulators for the onboard cpu on the DSTWO are ass anyways.

If it would that easy, it would already have done and mentioned here.

If it would possible to fake the actual date the card is reading on the system by homebrew, not by changing the displayed time or RTC, may a solution.

The timebomb is only kernel deep, which means replacing it with TWiLight Menu++, YSmenu, or both, which will fix the timebomb issue.
I personally use TWiLight Menu++ with nds-bootstrap on my R4i-SDHC
Wait, you can install TWiLight Menu++ on an R4 card? I currently run WOODR4 on mine, whatever the latest is. No timebomb. But other options would be nice. (I can't stand YSmenu, it's ugly and functionally lacking.)

My exact card is an R4i Gold 3DS (RTS), the one before they made the Plus for NTRBOOT. It was made for a VERY long time compared to most other cards, and was regarded as the best at the time. (I still consider it the best NDS flash cart.)

@Jayro I was wondering, too. It looks like that if u use a DS/DSphat/DSlight u are able to use certain flashcards with running TWLmenu directly on it. DSi and 3ds users should install it on consoles SD Card and can then run the flashcard and the games from it.

Some Points in a thread in our forum say this:
"Bring the DSi Menu to your DS Phat/lite, by putting TWLMenu++ on a flashcard"
"Directly access the flashcard's microSD card, and switch to and from there anytime! (only listed supported)"
TWLmenu++ thread on gbatemp

A guy on youtube runs TWLmenu++ on R4 with a DSi, but with some restrictions. Like no cheats and lower game compatibility. Youtube: R4 withTWLmenu++ on DSi

Ok guys. I am myself owning a R4i 3DS v6.2 from R4I-Gold.EU and tryed running TWLmenu++ on it with old3DS XL and new3DS XL. And.. it works fine, with fast boot time and also the DS cheats work !! (Gbarunner2 and emu`s want work in the first attemp). But i needed to set nds_bootstrap to be used instead firmware/kernel. Else the games want start (just a white scren) and no cheat function was available.

So follow this Turorial TWLmenu++ installing flashcard
U can try running TWLmenu using the firmware/kernel if supported, else nds_bootstrap needs to be set in settings of TWLmenu by pressing select and then entering the menu at the bottom. There also the ability to make the card autoboot, if supported.

For using cheats with NDS games, download here the usrcheat.dat and place it _nds/TWiLightMenu/extras.
Just as aditional info activating cheats: Boot up TWL++ and select a game by hovering over it and press Y followed by X. Then simply select the cheats you would like to be active by pressing A whilst hovering over a cheat. Then Press x again to save after that you can start the Game normally with cheats.
