can a nintendo account get banned *after* unlinking it from a modded switch?
I'd like to install .nsp files without risking a ban

want to give my cfw switch(with included sd card) to a friend without deleting the hack. how to get my id out of sysnand without formatting?

im on atmosphere. how do i update my atmosphere and firmware, without getting my switch bricked? also how do i go online to use the AIO updater without getting banned as well

yeah, thats basically why im curious, since i ran out of SD space installing games using Awoo, but i saw system space so i thought like...wait, this is also an SD card called "system memory". In emunand this is ACTUALLY an SD.
Exactly, as long as you haven't touched the internal memory, once you run out of space on the SD card, you can still use the internal memory as an installation destination.

Nintendo Accounts are rarely banned and when they are, its usually not because of hacking but due to other actions such as credit card fraud.

The "hack" was never installed in the first place so there is nothing to be deleted in the first place unless you delete the files from the SD card in which case they will just need to redownloaded from the Internet. I'm not sure what you mean by "ID" though or why you need it in the first place.

Although its incredibly hard to brick the Switch, you will most certainly run into trouble if you use the AIO Updater. Updating Atmosphere is literally as simple as downloading the new files and placing them on your SD card. For maximum efficiency, you can delete the /atmosphere folder on your SD card first to remove any old files and folders from earlier versions. Updating your firmware is done with the homebrew application, Daybreak, which comes bundled with Atmosphere automatically. However you must download the firmware you wish to update to separately and those are copyrighted files so you must find them yourself. Rest assured though that Nintendo Switch firmware files are readily available on the Internet if you look hard enough.

So I'm getting Unknown pkg1 error after upgrading my sd card to a bigger one.
I copied my 256gb SD card contents to my 512 one. Did archive bit cuz it was on a mac, and I got this
Did I do something wrong?

Looks like I did I got a Partition based not filed based.
oh wow man this sucks I gotta delete shit off my macbook now.

So once i remove my Nintendo ID from my switch I'm free to do all the stuff that usually would result in a ban (like installing nsp files)? Is there a specific tool or procedure to do that?

First, the Switch doesn't use Nintendo ID, the 3DS uses Nintendo ID. The Switch uses the Nintendo Account which is actually different. Second, just because there is no Nintendo Account linked to the console doesn't mean you cannot get banned. The reason is because Nintendo can still ban the console itself.

Oh I don't mind if my console itself gets banned. I just want to make sure that nothing happens to my Nintendo Account. But if I understand you correctly my Account can get banned even after I unlink it from my switch?

No, you understood me the first time. I apologize, I was not aware that the console being banned was of no concern to you. If that is the case, then hack away. Your account shouldn't even be banned. Even in the rare instance that it somehow gets banned, people have used Nintendo Accounts from banned consoles on unbanned consoles without issue.

Anyways, if you wish to unlink the Nintendo Account, according to Nintendo's website, all you do is delete the associated user. If you want to unlink all Nintendo Accounts, then you have to initialize the console.
