Which games waste more space in the PS3's HDD, PKG (after being installed and deleting their installers) or ISO/folder format's?

I thought they were always smaller than folder and ISO games. Anyway, why don't they ask or install game data right away like folder and ISO games?

I had forgotten about that. technically, they could be smaller, yes, due to forced game data installs. psn games don't do that, since they're already on the hdd. the only reason for the mandatory installs is that the bd drive is too slow. the ps5 requires it as well with ps5 games. though, the entire game has to be copied.

I think the PS4 too with PS4 games. IIRC, there are PSP games that also install game data, regardless if they're inside a disc or not. I don't know about the PS Vita.

Why do folder/ISO format games on the PS3 also install game data since they're not inside a disc or an USB device?

I already know ISO format compatibility is higher than the folder one.
