Always upgrade Atmosphere and Hekate first. Once they are working perfectly then update the FW.

note on step 2: you can just search for the Darthsternie Firmware files and skip this firmware dumping step and move on to step 3 of the upgrade with files in hand. Much easier.

yes, a v2 is a Mariko which means you will be using a mod chip.

Since you are using Mariko there is no need to inject anything. Injecting is for V1 Erista only.

Please answer these two questions:

Which modchip are you using? (HWFLY or Original SX)
Do you use Emunand or Sysnand?

sorry but i bought the switch with jbreak already..

well when i open it, the menu is SX black red background. just to make sure, how can i check?

I don't seem to have this option? Only "supports hos firmware 14.1.0+ and AMS 1.3.2" and then, below it, hekate_ipl.ini.

All sigpatches have been rolled into one so there is no longer a Fusee and Hekate version. Just grab the one you see and keep moving forward.

(BTW, Highly recommend the first PC version of updating for folks who’ve not gone through this before. On Switch AIO is helpful when you know how it all works and just want to speed through things.)

its working now.. cfw is AMS1.3.2/s
then i use aio updater (only for the latest firmware)
and install it and now its working fine with latest cfw and fw

i deleted the atmosphere/content when im doin the process..
the tesla or overlay is not working, so i copy paste the atmosphere/content.. error when booting..
i deleted it again and now its working fine.. is tesla and overlay not compatible anymore?

also if in my picture (the first one) were theres a big logo atmosphere
when i chose it, its re-dericting me to hekate.
when im on hekte, i have to choose payload then fusee.bin (the new one)
is there a way to make it in the RR screen to boot directly to nswitch when i click the logo?

You should leave Hekate in your boot chain for the tools and fuse management. Just make Hekate autoboot into Atmosphere…that way when you click the Atmosphere logo in RR the end result will in fact be Atmosphere.

Please post the contents of your /bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini file.

I have a prob and don't know where to ask. So if I play MH Rise (Cardridge) and open zing (breeze overlay) and wanna access the cheats, it autocloses and won't let me open it. If I go to the homemenu to close the game it freezes on the homemenu. It happens only with that game.

Isn't Retro Reloaded CFW like very outdated.. Latest version I find is from 2020?

I thought the same thing. RR does weird release stuff like update the same release. It’s up to 14.1.0 so it has to be updated. Check the release notes.

There’s very little that has changed between 14.1.1 and 14.1.2. Atmosphere 1.3.2 runs on both and even the Sigpatches are the same. I would bet RR just works.

nah i stay on deepsea. cause Retro Reloaded has SXOS Included (dont need that cause unable to use). and Stardust CFW bootloader looks weird.

and i looked in Retro Reloaded zip file......it says may 2022 but has Reinx, sxos.....it even has the ams sept folder....super old stuff....both still have sxos....nah deepsea is what i stay on.

Bottom Line On Top: yes all indicators point to it being safe to upgrade to 14.1.2

Hey guys. I'm using Edizon for Atmosphere cheats but all of them are automatically activated. I already changed the systsem_settings.ini and changed this to dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0 , but it has no effect and all cheats are still shown as active when I go into the game. I have a screenshot of the ini file, can anyone tell me if this is how it's supposed to be like?
