Howdy friends! 🤠

Can anyone link me to an up to date skyrim modding tutorial? (Video or thread)
The Modded Warfare video on the topic seemed to only show the nx toolkit when it was just .ini's and you had to add each mod manually with a set limit.
From what i have read on threads from shortly after that video was posted, they are talking about new things like ffmpeg and other tools that werent covered in Modded's video. As such, i dont want to try using those 2.5 year old threads in case THEY are out of date now lol

Any help would be appreciated, thanks 😎

Disclaimer: I don’t play Skyrim

Have you checked out Nexus mods?

They have a blurb about NX Toolkit

with a link to their Discord. https://discord.gg/FhhfvVj

You're not going to get banned when I ask you to do this but you need to disable 90DNS to clear the error. You can just delete the Wi-Fi settings instead. That is much safer since there is no way for you to go online if you don't have Wi-Fi.
So I followed what you said and I'm still getting the error when I try to launch a game

I’m glad I asked the follow up question then instead of just being a dick!

I was thinking you just needed to restore from a backup. Sounds bigger than that. You’re saying your eMMC isn’t working period and your just trying to get the data off?

If that’s the case then you are absolutely correct, it will require tools and skills. That’s the bad news. The good news is that it’s stuff that a decent local cellphone/electronics repair shop should be able to handle. The eMMC chip is a common BGA153 format.
yep. when i got the switch it wouldnt boot to the os and was in rcm mode and wouldnt show anything on the screen. when i figured out how to use rcmgui i was able to boot into hekate and verify that the sd card could not be dumped or read. the inside of the switch had water damage and was slightly corroded around what i think was the IC that handled battery info and etc. i cleaned it all down real good and reassembled and still could not read the emmc, so i ordered another emmc and followed: and the switch booted and is working great no problems at all. i just cant connect to eshop or use multiplayer supported games.

i could probably reball it but i would have to spend the money on the equipment and i could just buy another switch at that point. i did try and press the chip while booting the switch and could never get it to read. maybe it has corrosion under it as well, who knows. i guess i could use some chorine free brake parts cleaner on it, that shit will cleaned 20 year old baked grease off of aluminum lol.

but the main thing is, if there was a service that offered this, something tells me it would be some side money/side hustle for someone. not to mention the free emmcs they would probably get

Is there an easy way to convert cheats from older versions of a game to the newest one?

Among many others, I couldn't find updated cheats for Diablo 3, and would like to find a way to convert them from old ones avaliable.

CFW, the power went out and my game crashed when I tried to relaunch it I was given that error
Corrupted game files, probably related to the power outtage.
Delete it completely from your emunand and reinstall it from a trustworthy source using (preferably) DBI. You can save your save files and restore them afterwards.

Source: me asking myself why I was getting this godamn error after using tinfoil to download / install a large game and forgetting to turn off sleep mode, accidentally corrupting the installation.

I probably should've tried this but a guide I saw showed me mantience mode and a factory reset without losing data on the SD card so I just did that. Best option? no, did it work? yes

Maintenance mode is not a bad option. It’s actually one of the solutions on the page @Draxzelex sent you. Glad you're sorted!

I’m just getting into reballing and literally got my 256G emmc earlier today.

I got a chip reader too. Only things I’m lacking are skills but I will pick those up by hacking on my own gear otherwise I’d offer to take a look just for the experience.

Unless there are any Electronics Tech’s here willing to pick up a quick emmc job…your best bet is going to be somebody at a local repair shop.

Cheats are tweaks to in game memory locations that will change from release to release. It’s unlikely there would be a direct mapping of which locations changed. They would need to be rediscovered. Cheatslips and here are going to be your best places to find the latest updates.
