my guess is that the drive is encrypted by the wii u, in which case, you'd have to use your otp.bin, seeprom.bin, and dumpster U. the reason I think this is because using a fat32 drive on mocha requires you first install games to a wii u formatted drive, then move them to the fat32 one due to them needing to be indexed first.

do you see sector 0?

Yeah, looking over your instructions it says 55AA. I changed it back to GPT but on EaseUS it doesn't say the file system it's under like NTFS. When I load Ease US it does ask me to to partition and how partition. I think I may have already partitioned?

55AA is normal. did you format the drive with easeus? you should check if it says "unallocated memory." if it does, it's probably encrypted. make sure you don't initialize it.

I'm trying to figure out how to make Windows read my USB HDD I formatted to FAT32. I tried UStealth but it refuses to work and detect the drive so maybe I did something wrong somewhere?
do you have a Y-cable with your external hard drive?

what is the brand of your hard drive? , and what capacity??

For the one I'm trying to get working it's a 3.0 Seagate. It's close to 500GB. It doesn't use a Y-cable so I don't have that option, only for my 2.0 HDD.

Y cable compatible with your Seagate external hard drive ==>CABLE Y

have you tried reformatting it to fat 32 with ""guiformat"?

it's probably wii u formatted.
The Wii U never detected the drive in the first place to format it so not sure how that's possible. Are you guys sure it doesn't have to do with Command Prompt since that's where I changed it to MBR? It's back in GPT anyway but maybe you should be asking me to confirm other settings I have on the drive?
