Is there finally a way to patch or replace a HOME Menu applet to launch something else with it? I'm hoping that given how long the 3DS has been "pwned" some way has been found

In particular I'd like to launch Universal Updater instead of Miiverse (I know about Pretendo but I don't care about that)

Latest Luma3DS has home menu patches so when that goes public u can look into what u can do with that

I've seen that pull request/commit and it seems to be about just HOME Menu and it'll enable what was already possible which is changing icons and text but applets seem to be still blacklisted unfortunately

It's a bit of a bummer, it'll be nice to use more efficiently that space especially with literal dead weight like Miiverse

I replaced the Miiverse Applet to run the Homebrew Launcher long time ago and it worked fine.
But I've stopped doing anything on the 3DS loong time ago
Did you write anything on how to do it? I'd love to do something like that. Also yeah I saw how old those posts where
