Latest is 13.2 for AnimalCrossing.... so 13.2- the newest.

Hi,

I have a 2019 Mariko Switch with a SX Core ModChip - which I updated to 10.1.0 - and then tried to install Atmosphere - but it wouldn't boot anymore - even though I restored boot0 & boot1 (but probably from an older backup), now my Switch Boots again in SXOS and I can access Homebrew but I'm back on OFW 8.1.0, now I wonder how I can update it to the newest Version.
I tried loading atmosphere - but it doesn't boot - so I can't use daybreak because if I launch it in SXOS it complains that it needs Atmosphere 0.14+ - which I can't start - I tried using the oldest Supported Version of Atmosphere, but that doesn't seem to boot either. I think I could access hekate (at least I was able to before I restored the full nand backup).

Would the newest atmosphere even run on OFW that old ?

Thanks for any pointers!

Update: I was able to boot into atmosphere using emunand via hekate - no idea why it didn't work using sysnand. All working fine now with emunand. Thanks anyway.

I am unable to launch Kirby Star Allies... I get the error message 'Unable to start software. Return to the HOME menu and try again'. I tried reinstalling the game, but it doesn't do anything. I'm on Atmosphere 1.2.5. I reinstalled h.a.t.s. 1.2.5 (dec 01 release) this morning.

is a hacked switch better then a hacked wii for emulation?

what i mean is playing RetroArch and stuff like that.

Finally updated to 13.2

How do I update Games quickly ? Do I have to Manually find files and transfer across or is there an easy way

2) how do I add cheat files ?
I have animal crossing? Where do I get the files from and where do I need to upload them too ? So I need an app to installed ? Are cheats automatically activated etc ?

I can’t seem to find a guide on the above

Did you download them from this thread? If not, I urge you to do so as other places don't have the fully updated patches.

Your patches may not be updated. Download the latest from this thread.

If we're talking strictly Nintendo consoles, the Wii U is by far the best for emulation. After that, the Wii would be your best choice. Despite being handheld, the Switch isn't ideal for emulation.

Technically, you can update games quickly by going online but if your console is hacked, you risk getting banned. If you want to safely update your games, you will have to download the updates illegally from the Internet and install them with your preferred title manager. Since they are illegal, there is no easy way to find them. As for cheats, this thread should be able to answer all those questions.

13.2.0 (switch) 1.2.5 (atmosphere)
Another user made a thread detailing various fixes for games not booting. It may be worth giving it a read.
Yes I got my patches from there and all my games still crash when I load them if I have kip1patch=nosigchk in the ini
OK when you launch Atmosphere, instead of using Hekate, try using the fusee payload instead. You can download it from the official Atmosphere GitHub page.

using the fusee payload still causes all games to load as a black screen where all I can do is force power off the switch

@Draxzelex , sorry to butt in, you are the master no doubt. But I remember having this issue while back and my problem was the nogc file had cheats auto enabled and it would blackscreen or crash my games at boot. Not sure if help, but good luck.
