Is it even possible to create NSP's for roms for emulators like MelonDS, PPSSPP, PSNES, PNES, Flycast, mGBA... ?

Standalone emulators are preffered because of better performance.

Only way to create custom NSP's with a forwarder tool is for retroarch cores.

Problem is this only works for Retroarc roms and general nro's. What I was asking is can you make a NSP for for example:
NSP -> pokemon emerald.gba (ROM) -> mGBA (standalone emulator)? And how would that work or how can you do this?

No you can't. Most of the standalone emulators aren't coded to do that, with the exception of ppssspp i think. The best ya got is just create a forwarder for launching the emulator then boot a game in the emulator.

No, it is not possible.
