3 glitches ive run into
1, any piece of music that doesnt have art attached to them can cause a crash if art viewer is on, is a fix for them utilizing an art folder in the settings?
2. i have an odd vertical red bar on the far right side of my screen when using the app at all times, anyone else experiencing this?
3. attempting to return to the system menu (i use a channel forwarder) while watching a video locks up the wii and i have to hard reset it

did some further tests for issue no.3
when rigging the forwarder to the boot.dol in apps/wiimc-ss it black screens on boot, console locked
when copy n pasting said boot.dol into the apps/wiimc folder and rigging that to the forwarder the same black sceen console lock happens
and even when loading SS from the Hbrew channel and trying to return to the system menu from there causes the console to cut video output and lock up

the only way i could get the forwarder to work was by just copy n pasting SS's boot.dol into the "wiimc" folder and just letting the forwarder (which was already set to search for that .dol) try to connect to that
luckily it works

on an odd note hooking the new .dol with the forwarder caused its block size to grow by almost 9 times its og size

Update: it just started randomly working
i can now exit to the system menu without having to reset the console
oi vey.....

I have tested with several formats and can't get it to crash, I need more info.

Does this happen in the original WiiMC? What if you change screen position? What about video modes, any changes in 240p/576p?

for the art issue, ill try and see if hooking some art to the un art'd vids will help

and the red line on the side wasnt there in previous SS versions just showed up after i updated
Res settings had no effect

after some more fiddling
playing around with the screen space in the system settings turned the bar blue
and swapping the hyperkin hdmi cord with the wii composite cords fixed the issue, perhaps its an issue exclusive to that cord?

So ive managed to fix nearly all issues by using the github .dol instead of the mediafire .dol
the red/blue bar on the side of the screen is gone
after getting the art folder to work (as embedded art work wasnt working (is the github wiimcss .dol and older version?)) music art now works without crashing (tho theres now no option for screensaver art)
only other issue is i cant access the network media anymore, it keeps telling me the network file is missing

played around with the media fire build some more
-Even attaching a proper music thumbnails folder with thumbnails that worked on the git hub build didnt work, the songs just kept loading thier embedded thumbnails if they had any, which caused the previously mentioned black screen issue i mentioned. even songs that dont have embedded art dont display thier assigned thumbnails
-After testing composite output the blue bar went away
its possible it could be an incompatibility with my hyperkin HDMI cable?
Sorry if im coming off assholish here, its just really weird how im the only one here who seems to have all these issues

-Update: Thumbnails randomly decided to start working, however attempting to play music with embedded thumbnails causes Wii MCSS to switch to the embedded thumbnail. And the app still black screens/kicks back to HBC when attempting to switch from an embedded thumbnail song a song without one

There is currently no way to close the "Please wait Initializing network..." prompt with a gamecube controller so I'm stuck waiting forever because my wii is not hooked up the internet and I cannot pair any wiimotes to it

You can edit your settings.xml inside your WiiMC folder

For some reason, the USB hard drive cannot be read in the WiiMC-SS, although everything works fine in the WiiMC.
Same here. I have a partitioned HDD (FAT32 and NTFS) and I just updated WiiMC-SS Version 2.00. But the NTFS partition doesn't open anymore, it always gives an error. But on the old version of WiiMC-SS I have (1.3.9), the NTFS partition opens normally (that's where my media is). Also the old WiiMC works.

NTFS support was removed. It's in the changelog
