I really hope they improve the look of the game a little bit.

Nothing against the Chibi look (Link's Awakening HD for example is beautiful), but from what I saw in the trailer it looked like a bad little mobile game, it felt like something without love and without much investment, even an indie game like Temtem looked better.

nah, I already tried defeating the first, but the second could still call for help
I remember clearly having trouble with unfinishable battles like that
Wat? I'm certain that's how it goes. Even if you give it Adrenaline Orb, i used to see the Ditto 4IV +40 encounters trick and that's how they do it.

If you want an emerald remake, look at ORAS on 3ds, they both are

As for me, I'll look forward for Legends Arceus
To those saying stuff about its lag in previous preview, I though you were aware that it was early stage of developpement and far from the final product...
I'm pretty sure they made improvement
As for the 4G remake, I hope they remade the models and gave up on the chibi style
I heard lot of dissapointment from pokemon players about the chibi graphics, and tbh, I didn't really like it either

In short, looking forward to that event :)
ORAS are nowhere close to being "Emerald remakes". They don't have the Battle Frontier, nor do they allow the player to fight both Team Magma and Team Aqua.
All they did to reference Emerald is that short and crappy "Delta Episode", which revolves around Rayquaza - and even then, to say it "references Emerald" is a major stretch.

ORAS are Ruby/Sapphire remakes, through and through, and it's the worst bloody thing.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Horde battle was a good idea, I agree
But that was in 6G iirc, in 7G, Pokemon were calling for help and, sometime, they were summoning a second pokemon

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

It even bothered me sometime, like, it calls one, i beat it, the second calls a third, i beat the second, the third calls a fourth, etc
I know that, it was in ORAS when you could use a Pokemon with the ability Sweet Scent to initiate it in grass areas, you can encounter up to 5 Mons. As for Gen7 the call for help thing, if you take out the 2nd Mon, the 1st one will call the 3rd and so on. But if you take out the 1st, the 2nd cannot call for help it would fail every time. I like the horde idea ganging in up on you along with the Big fat totem Pokemon is very interesting.

Sun/Moon did have constant SOS callings, but Ultra fixed that by only allowing one calling unless the player used an Adrenaline Orb.
Oh, and statusing the Pokemon (sleep, burn, paralysis, poison, freeze) prevents all calls too.

@RichardTheKing
By constant you mean every SOS called Pokemon could successfully call another one, regardless of them not being the initial one?
Well, it was affected by the Pokemon's HP and whether your Pokemon has Intimidate, but...yes. Even a Pokemon who received the SOS could send their own SOS - for the most part; some species, particularly the very rare evolved forms of the initial encounter (e.g. Butterfree, Kommo-o, Salamence), simply cannot call. Some unevolved Pokemon, or those incapable of evolution, are also unable to call; Happiny, Sableye, Castform, Basculin, etc.
As I said, Game Freak belatedly realised just how problematic this was and rectified it in Ultra Sun/Moon. A bit too late for those burned by the initial system and decided not to purchase Ultra, but hey.

I for one am unashamedly looking forward to the Diamond and Pearl remakes.

Same here, It's actually the most excited I've been to play Pokemon game since probably RS remakes.
I missed the top-down view and random encounters.
